Martha:

Hi All - Mr. McBee (R.I.P) was apparently a moonshiner in Kentucky - made a bunch of recordings for some Alan Lomax type in the 60s; and of course - we AIM to creep you out!
  9:38pm
Marco In Brooklyn:

Wow! That's real hillbilly music!
  9:39pm

  11:36pm
Martha:

Hey Betsy - thanks for checking in - and that Brother Love has really grown on me - we should get together in the not too distant future as well!

Sorry - great B'town band - I think only did a reunion concert in the latish 80s - featured Mr. Easly on vox - def. check them out - one of their guitarists went on to play w/ the Volcano Suns - and Chris G. drummed for La Volta and then drummed for Cul de Sac for a bit before moving on - then, of course, there were the L'heads -
  11:47pm
Betsy:

Wow, that Vertonen was great too. Yeah, would be great to hang soon! I'm packing books while listening tonight; switching apartments Oct 1st.
  11:51pm
Martha:

Yes - love the Vertonen - and you have my moving sympathies!
  12:15am
