  Sun. 9/5/10 3:43pm Listener Mike:

Has Sunn O))) been on yet?
  Sun. 9/5/10 3:45pm Brian Turner:

Some of these sets will stream after ATP on this playlist page, so bookmark if you'd like to check em out later. Some will be on the Free Music Archive in the future too. Tonight will be your only chance to check out the Stooges, Kurt Vile, and Fucked Up though, so catch them live on the stream, they wont be archived.
  Sun. 9/5/10 3:46pm Brian Turner:

@Mike See schedule above or on home page. Unfortunately Sunn/Boris on at the very end and want to hear the set before it airs (which we of course respect). Keep tuned to the home page though, if they like it it will run as an indiviual WFMU special soon.
  Sun. 9/5/10 3:46pm Marco D Argento:

Oh crap no archive? I'd like to download it to my iPhone
  Sun. 9/5/10 3:47pm Listener Mike:

  Sun. 9/5/10 6:04pm MuttonChops:

Who is crowd surfing here?!?!?
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:05pm max:

I heard she spit on Steve Albini for calling her a Cool Rock Chick
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:05pm Marmalade Kitty:

no.. I'm sure she'd be flattered ;)
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:07pm MuttonChops:

or you will be flattened
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:09pm Marmalade Kitty:

Ha ha I'm not scared! **raspberry**
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:11pm MuttonChops:

I actually like my chicks to be rough
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:12pm Joshua K:

ucking the future!
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:13pm Jordan:

Yo, the drums can barely be heard. This recording isn't that great –– probably sounded way better in person.
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:13pm Marmalade Kitty:

Alright! you know what I mean by cool! (maybe the word is overrated!) (Rock biz!) what would you call it, huh? ..(sonicyouthRock!!) ?
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:13pm Roberts Plant:

Does anyone remember laughter?
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:15pm MuttonChops:

Yuk Yuk I do! I do!
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:16pm max:

i think death valley 69 might just be the best song of all time
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:19pm Roberts Plant:

How is it recorded live? Isn't that like jumbo shrimp?
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:20pm billy:

@max at least one of the best live songs of all time
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:22pm Marmalade Kitty:

how is it recorded posthumously after the event?
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:23pm Roberts Plant:

"All in the Family is recorded on tape before a live audience"
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:23pm MuttonChops:

LOL, I know remember laughter
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:24pm MuttonChops:

  Sun. 9/5/10 6:25pm BTH:

This SY setlist is SICK!
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:26pm MuttonChops:

TAKE IT OFF!
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:28pm max:

@billy Ive yet to experience it live, in person yet, but for me no version that Ive hear has topped the original.... if someone can point be towards a superior version thatd be rad
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:33pm Marmalade Kitty:

@max, Go on a SY pilgrimage to see them play your favourite song live!! make sure it's on their set before you go though!
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:34pm billy:

saw them earlier this year and it's still the best show I've seen all year long
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:35pm Brian Turner:

Up next: White Hills, then Kurt Vile at 7pm ET, Fucked Up @ 7:30 ET, Iggy and the Stooges @ 8PM, Dungen at 9:30.
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:36pm Marmalade Kitty:

I saw them in '96
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:36pm billy:

the dogs in the house did not dig Thurston's feedback...I however did.
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:38pm max:

I totally will do the Sonic Youth pilgramage, Ill take that money I should be saving up to go to college next year and just travel to somewhere that Sonic Youth are actually playing, Ill just spend a year following them from city to city all year long
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:40pm seang:

T-Model Ford is a BAD man
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:41pm Marmalade Kitty:

Roadie, That WOULD be cool! :)
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:41pm Joe:

When asked how many times he'd been to jail, T-Model responded, "I don't know. How many?" He seemed to think it might be a trick question. Upon realizing it wasn't, he answered to the best of his ability.

"Every Saturday night there for awhile."
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:45pm max:

the more I think about the more I think I should do it, should start a whole deadhead type movement of people following Sonic Youth all over the world, Thurston did say he wish that they could steal the Grateful Dead audience from Phish
  Sun. 9/5/10 6:55pm Marmalade Kitty:

Those deadheads were committed o.o Go for it! don't use the college money though, you most likely will need that when you've finished your tour! It's like one of those special things you could look back on when your older..
  Sun. 9/5/10 7:03pm Demian:

you rule! listening from Argentina!
  Sun. 9/5/10 7:03pm max:

Im gonna do it, itll be like On The Road but with noise rock instead of bop... and minus the alcoholism and awesome writing
  Sun. 9/5/10 7:07pm Marmalade Kitty:

Max, you sound inspired!

  Sun. 9/5/10 8:37pm Marmalade Kitty:

It is leather
  Sun. 9/5/10 8:38pm Roberts Plant:

@emmagineering - Assuming you couldn't get out of is way and it would've meant bodily harm to the Igster if you had.
  Sun. 9/5/10 8:43pm Bren:

Dungen at 9:30, that's 02:30 here

The piano was always so primal
  Sun. 9/5/10 8:56pm Paul:

Sir John Cale's finest ivory-tinkling, yes!!! (and the sound got 100% better after my initial comment!) Visuals, yes - more pix, fmu!
  Sun. 9/5/10 8:57pm Holly:

I'm listening in a very 'cafe' coffeeshop, and I feel kinda... dirty ;-)
  Sun. 9/5/10 8:58pm MuttonChops:

  Sun. 9/5/10 9:01pm Holly:

  Sun. 9/5/10 9:05pm Roberts Plant:

  Sun. 9/5/10 9:09pm SiHV:

  Sun. 9/5/10 9:21pm Joshua K:

Those dogs sound crazy. I want to try!
  Sun. 9/5/10 9:27pm Keef Richards:

I heard Iggy snorted peanut butter off of a headless bat after chewing John Cale's head off
  Sun. 9/5/10 9:30pm Keef Richards:

wish these DJs would shut up
  Sun. 9/5/10 9:41pm Keef Richards:

Dungen sound great. 100% better mix than the Stooges stream. Man, that was painfully bad. I wanted to like it, but the sound was too crap.
  Sun. 9/5/10 9:48pm EVTikiGirl:

well that makes me feel a little better. I bet it was beautiful up there today.
  Sun. 9/5/10 9:48pm Keef Richards:

imo James Williamson was the only Stooge sounding good. Iggy sounds like an old man. Can't scream like he could in the old days. Mike Watt wasn't in the mix 80% of the time and when he was, he was f**king up a lot. Couldn't hear Steve McKay at all.... It was cool to hear JW solos on the Ron Asheton tunes though. He sounded fierce.
  Sun. 9/5/10 9:50pm MuttonChops:

That's it?!
  Mon. 9/6/10 9:59am Bjoern:

Hi,
how i can listen to the mudhoney-show from last friday?
bjoern (germany)
  Tue. 10/5/10 5:16pm jason:
