  3:45pm
Brian Turner:

Some of these sets will stream after ATP on this playlist page, so bookmark if you'd like to check em out later. Some will be on the Free Music Archive in the future too. Tonight will be your only chance to check out the Stooges, Kurt Vile, and Fucked Up though, so catch them live on the stream, they wont be archived.
  3:46pm
Brian Turner:

@Mike See schedule above or on home page. Unfortunately Sunn/Boris on at the very end and want to hear the set before it airs (which we of course respect). Keep tuned to the home page though, if they like it it will run as an indiviual WFMU special soon.

  6:05pm
max:

I heard she spit on Steve Albini for calling her a Cool Rock Chick

billy:

@max at least one of the best live songs of all time
  6:22pm
Marmalade Kitty:

  6:23pm
Roberts Plant:

"All in the Family is recorded on tape before a live audience"
  6:23pm
MuttonChops:

  6:25pm
BTH:

This SY setlist is SICK!
  6:26pm
MuttonChops:

TAKE IT OFF!
  6:28pm
max:

@billy Ive yet to experience it live, in person yet, but for me no version that Ive hear has topped the original.... if someone can point be towards a superior version thatd be rad
  6:33pm
Marmalade Kitty:

@max, Go on a SY pilgrimage to see them play your favourite song live!! make sure it's on their set before you go though!
  6:34pm
billy:

saw them earlier this year and it's still the best show I've seen all year long
  6:35pm

  6:38pm
max:

I totally will do the Sonic Youth pilgramage, Ill take that money I should be saving up to go to college next year and just travel to somewhere that Sonic Youth are actually playing, Ill just spend a year following them from city to city all year long
  6:40pm
seang:

T-Model Ford is a BAD man
  6:41pm
Marmalade Kitty:

Roadie, That WOULD be cool! :)
  6:41pm
Joe:

When asked how many times he'd been to jail, T-Model responded, "I don't know. How many?" He seemed to think it might be a trick question. Upon realizing it wasn't, he answered to the best of his ability.

"Every Saturday night there for awhile."
  6:45pm
max:

the more I think about the more I think I should do it, should start a whole deadhead type movement of people following Sonic Youth all over the world, Thurston did say he wish that they could steal the Grateful Dead audience from Phish
  6:55pm
Marmalade Kitty:

Those deadheads were committed o.o Go for it! don't use the college money though, you most likely will need that when you've finished your tour! It's like one of those special things you could look back on when your older..
  7:03pm
Demian:

you rule! listening from Argentina!
  7:03pm
max:

  8:36pm
emmagineering:

  8:37pm
Jiffy:

Xtra Chunky!
  8:37pm

Someone out there better be recording this for future educational reference. It sounds like it was a BLAST.
  8:37pm
Marmalade Kitty:

  8:38pm

  9:21pm
Joshua K:

Those dogs sound crazy. I want to try!
  9:27pm
Keef Richards:

I heard Iggy snorted peanut butter off of a headless bat after chewing John Cale's head off
  9:30pm
Keef Richards:

wish these DJs would shut up
  9:41pm
Keef Richards:

Dungen sound great. 100% better mix than the Stooges stream. Man, that was painfully bad. I wanted to like it, but the sound was too crap.
  9:48pm
EVTikiGirl:

well that makes me feel a little better. I bet it was beautiful up there today.
  9:48pm
Keef Richards:

imo James Williamson was the only Stooge sounding good. Iggy sounds like an old man. Can't scream like he could in the old days. Mike Watt wasn't in the mix 80% of the time and when he was, he was f**king up a lot. Couldn't hear Steve McKay at all.... It was cool to hear JW solos on the Ron Asheton tunes though. He sounded fierce.
  9:50pm
MuttonChops:

That's it?!
  9:59am
Bjoern:

Hi,
how i can listen to the mudhoney-show from last friday?
