I heard this on WRUV, moy other favorite station, a couple weeks ago and thought it was the on air DJ doing it. Sounds great-reminds me of Pauline Oliveros in the cistern.

I think someone asked already, but what does that fairly normal vocal pitch that's in there sound like in the original when it's 800% faster than this ?

Mon. 8/30/10 12:13pm
Liz B.:
You can actually preserve the pitch in many audio editing programs, even if you use a time shift. There are usually a lot of bad glitchy artifacts, but this one is well done.

Okay, here's what we need. Someone takes, oh, say Enya, and slows it down 800%. Then some musicians take a careful listen and reproduce the results manually. Then someone records that and speeds it up 800%. How much like the original would it sound?
|
Mon. 8/30/10 12:26pm
don tesh:
sorry.. had to step away.. dweezil and tesh had to be seen immediately.. and with the lady in the sound proof booth?! golden age conan. good look, liz.

J. Biebz must not sound very good sped up 800% and set to a hard fast crazy breakcore beat or Jason Forrest presumably would've already done it.

|
Mon. 8/30/10 12:46pm
MostUnderratedListener:
no probs with that... but before dropping through the time-space levels and the door into the next dimension, don't forget to open it... otherwise it could be painful
