  9:09pm
Marco d argento:

Evening Dave. Got you tuned into my iPhone
  9:09pm
Dave M.:

Love the iPhone app.
  9:10pm
Marco d argento:

So what's on tap for tonight. Etherial as usual or experimental? Or a mixed bag?
  9:11pm
Marco d argento:

It's why I listen:-) you play the farthest out etherial of any of the flu DJ's:)
  9:14pm
Dave M.:

Seemed like it was going to be a little too noisy, so I grabbed a bunch of slightly less noisy stuff just before coming on.
  9:17pm
Marco d argento:

Well in this listeners humble opinion. You outclass Bryce. Brian turner
  9:17pm
Marco d argento:

And William Burger:-)
  9:20pm
Dave M.:

Well, they're all very different shows.
  9:21pm
Dave M.:

But I appreciate the compliment :-)
  9:21pm

  9:53pm
Marco d argento:

Wouldn't watch the Emmys if you tied me to a chair and taped my eyes open!
  9:55pm
Marco d argento:

I never watch award shows! Can't stand the brown nosing
  9:55pm
dan in Falls Church VA:

Emmy's tonight? I'm outta here...

j/k don't even own a tv set.
  9:55pm
Dave M.:

I was getting a little worried, Dan.
  9:56pm
Dave M.:

(Referring to your previous comment.)
  9:56pm
Marco d argento:

Now if Jennifer garner when to an award show naked? I'd watch:)
  9:58pm
dan in Falls Church VA:

  10:04pm
tj:

  10:06pm
dan in Falls Church VA:

@tj yes, world o' echo is tres awesome, discovered it only recently myself (used to listen to Bethany in this slot as if my life depeneded on it, which it turned out not to as I'm still alive)
  10:08pm
tj:

of course we all have our faves, but i never really find myself displeased. except maybe once or twice.
  10:11pm
dan in Falls Church VA:

i won't mention the one or two wfmy shows i absolutely cna't stand to listen to but will hint that they haven't a great deal to do with music.
  10:14pm
david from ks:

,,,,,scuze please,,but mr.Marco d ar.
I dont know about outclass, but all the DJ`s on this mostly volunteer station of stations appear to take their work seriously enough to adhere to a certain standard of listening quality every week, especially Brian Turner,They`ve All got their own style of uniquness far and away from most of the radio stations Ive heard in the last 35 years [I started in 1975] in my hobby of pre-internet and internet Radio station Recording and archiving coast to coast Cheers to FMU DJs and all their hard work!,,,Thanx-n-Peace Ya`ll
  10:17pm
Marco d argento:

I did say it was just my opinion?
  10:18pm
Marco d argento:

And I've probably been listening to the radio and wfmu the longest.
  10:20pm
Marco d argento:

Wish I had held onto all my audio recordings of the stations I use to listen to:(
  10:21pm
Dave M.:

Everyone's going to have some shows here that they don't like. We kind of pride ourselves on that.
  10:22pm
Marco d argento:

But I bet we all can agree that bryce and bob brainen are two of the calmest people on the air:)
  10:23pm
Dave M.:

Yes, and two amazing shows.
  10:23pm
Marco d argento:

Ok well Kenny g gets me nuts. ESP the last three weeks on his one hour show:)
  10:24pm
Dave M.:

"Hour of Pain"--you can't say he didn't warn you.
  10:25pm
Marco d argento:

I bet both bob brainen and Bryce are expert hypnotists:)
  10:26pm
Marco d argento:

"Hour of pain" being an understatement! How about "triple root canal without anesthesia!"
  10:27pm
dan in Falls Church VA:

@Marco, that's funny!
  10:31pm
Marco d argento:

I think if I hear one more traffic report I'll need a padded room with a straight jacket! I kid you not!
  10:36pm
Marco d argento:

It scares me what Kenny g is thinking of next? He could read the instruction Manuel for a samsung tv in Chinese! Now that scares me!!!
  10:40pm
Snortley:

Kim Doo Soo is Korean, actually.
  10:43pm
Marco d argento:

Well Kenny G could devote the hour to ABBA songs? Don't get me wrong I got nothing against one or two ABBA songs. But a whole hour of ABBA will turn anyone into a serial killer!
  10:44pm
Dave M.:

Oops, sorry. The label's Japanese and I thought he was too. Thanks for the correction.
  10:47pm
Marco d argento:

Satan "the big red guy" he likes abba. He can't wait for them to play in person in front of him:)
  10:52pm
tj:

okay, i'm penciling in this show for my schedule every sunday night.
  10:53pm
Dave M.:

Thanks. I'm honored.
  10:54pm
dan in Falls Church VA:

@tj, don't pencil, ink it!
  10:56pm
rgee:

re Satan : he's only going to let them play a couple of songs though..all that even the dark lord can handle
  11:19pm
dan in Falls Church VA:

i'm satan and i can consume infinite abba
  11:25pm
dan in Falls Church VA:

..."Germania" by Bruno Chevillon from Hors-Champ
Artist Track really cool way of putting together rhythm track!
  11:44pm
mr h:

this is why i love wfmu: i can't find half the music they play!
  11:44pm
dan in Falls Church VA:

re: Float West on the Slender Current

this is AWESOME stuff Dave, thanks so much
  11:46pm
Dave M.:

Glad you're enjoying it. Thanks.
  11:48pm
Ike:

Nifty show Dave. Oh and somebody here said that *Bryce* is one of the *calmest* DJs? Ha ha ha! Well, maybe sometimes.
  11:49pm
tj:

@ mr h: i like that too, but then it's frustrating cause it's so good i want to hear it more!
  5:30pm
BT:

I agree. I have no class at all...
