Listener comments!

  12:18am
Marco D Argento:

Did you see TCM's movie lineup in October?
  12:18am
Chris:

Go Wm. GO!
The Clockwork music reminded me.... I can no longer tolerate sitting through that movie...
What a difference 25 years makes.
Peace Brother Bill
  12:20am
Marco D Argento:

Every Friday in October they will be showing some old favorites of mine
  12:23am
Marco D Argento:

Now if they would just show those 60's
  12:23am
Marco D Argento:

Godzilla films!
  12:26am
Wm.:

vs. The Smog Monster is my favorite, but they all give a late 60s/early 70s warm fuzzy. I love the way Godzilla's son spits atomic onion rings. ... So what else are they showing, Marco? I'm not a cable subscriber....
  12:27am
Marco D Argento:

I have a desire to see Godzilla stomping through japan to the song "American Badass"
  12:29am
Marco D Argento:

All of hammers Frankenstein and Dracula films and the mummy series
  12:29am
Wm.:

Ah, we won the war, Marco, and they've given us Hentai, Daido Moriyama, and Incapacitants—I think that might be adding insult to injury.
  12:30am
Marco D Argento:

This is something me and my DVR have been waiting for!
  12:31am
Marco D Argento:

Yes! Vs the smog monster and second Monster Zero and third Vs king kong
  12:32am
Wm.:

The Hammer Mummy (w Cushing & Lee) is my favorite Mummy. So heartbreaking....
  12:32am
tw:

Taping movies from the teevee? How odd.
  12:34am
Marco D Argento:

Not taping! DVR! And then I burn myself a DVD of the film in HD
  12:36am
bbbob:

hi Wm!!! listening live. your voice is like mmmm smoky butter
  12:36am
Marco D Argento:

I've been grabbing old b-movies from tcm's underground for almost 3 years:)
  12:38am
Marco D Argento:

In my book nobody does a better baron Frankenstein than Peter Cushing!
  12:40am
Wm.:

Marco, the FBI is coming. bbbob, how did you know that I burn and then swallow a stick of butter before each show?? It's an old opera trick.
  12:41am
bbbob:

cos i've burned that butter with ya babe
  12:43am
Marco D Argento:

Im ready to defend all my 87 illegal copies of tcm underground movies. And no no one has dibbs on my "blood on satan's claw" copy
  12:44am
Wm.:

Marco, not even me?
  12:46am
Wm.:

bbbob, are you secretly R. Stevie Moore?
  12:46am
Marco D Argento:

And they are going to have to pry my cold hands off my copy of "susperia"
  12:48am
Marco D Argento:

Lisa gastoni was soo hot in "the wild wild plane"t and in "green slime"
  12:50am
Wm.:

I love Green Slime, the song especially. And the slime of course.
  12:51am
Marco D Argento:

Wm the only alternative is for you to beg a friend to watch tcm at his house every Friday night in October
  12:52am
Marco D Argento:

If this were 20 years ago I'd probably would have been paying my neighbor to record this on VHS
  12:53am
Wm.:

bbbob, just kidding. Jeez! People get so offended when I mistake them for a trolling RSM. Just curious who you are!
Marco dear, I have probably seen/been weaned on all those pictures. Love 'em, but I'm on to stronger stuff. You would not believe the backlog of horror films I have to watch in every possible format. Such problems!
  12:56am
Marco D Argento:

I miss them soo much in the last few years. It's going to be a good long stroll down memory lane Fridays in October. I can't wait
  1:00am
Marco D Argento:

Plenty if place for the new stuff. But for me it will always be the bad b-movie creature feature films I use to watch as a kid on weekends. Tcm does a good job. I haven't seen "psychomania" in 25 years:)
  1:04am
Marco D Argento:

Next year I'm having it legally changed to Marco argento. It sounds a he'll of a lot better than Luis quinones
  1:07am
Marco D Argento:

It drove me crazy when the kids in school use to call me "screwy louey"
  1:08am
Wm.:

Goddamit! Smashed my fuckin' knee hard on the bathroom door frame, running to take a piss. Who 'a gonna come here and kiss it? Fuck it hurts.

Marco, much respect, I'm really happy that you're listening, but you are OVER-commenting. Chill out and listen, bud. Thank you!
  1:09am
Marco D Argento:

Okie dokie. Nighy night:)
  1:19am
Wm.:

Anyone care to post about the music tonight in general, or Metal Rouge, perhaps? My knee hurts less, thanks. Should I just go home and pet the dog?
  1:23am
tw:

no
  1:25am
Wm.:

no what? Ah, never mind...either way, I've walked into it.
  1:26am
tw:

yes
  1:36am
Wm.:

So Trace, should we just bullshit about A Serbian Film? I was not with it for the first 45 mins. or so, to be truthful; then it just sailed over the top. Odd though, it was extreme, but kind of retained this ridiculousness at the same time. It wasn't the wallop in the guts I was hoping for. Good, great at times....
  1:40am
SF Spike:

The one good thing about being stuck at work late out here in SF is getting to listen to this Metal Rouge. Thanks Wm.!
  1:44am
Wm.:

These guys are playing at the Du Nord Sept. 4
  1:48am
tw:

Of course, the content is intrinsically ridiculous. Not much can provide such a wallop, I have been lowering my thought base to such minuscule levels by watching Teraz films.
  1:57am
Wm.:

There definitely were some "holy shit" scenes to Serbian Film. And it made its point, that Milos wanted to stop b/c he knew things were just going to escalate, and he was getting turned on, uncontrollably compelled by the horrible stuff they were having him do. I still had hoped for Ex Drummer-like wallop, at least, and it didn't happen. Maybe that one will creep up on me though.
  1:57am
Wm.:

Teraz? Link, please.

c lav:

excellent interview, wm!
  2:02am
Wm.:

EL RETORNO DE LOS TEMPLARIOS looks, well, golden? I always want the undead to be horny! Why is FEEDING always the dominant impulse?!
  2:13am
Chop Scott:

A little late, but had to say THANKS for the COMBAT SHOCK trailer!

Every night I go back there...
  2:52am
c lav:

BROO-TAL!
  8:41am
stuckinnoise:

The sewer election cd ... its 'Vengeance' from 2006 isnt it ? On Freak Animal.
  11:59am
Wm.:

Yes. Vengeance, indeed. Duly noted. Thank you for coming all this way just to correct me.
  1:22pm
SARZAN(HorseluverPhat):

Love that Sewer Election track, is there a way to make it LOUDER so it turns into a liquid that I will then inject into my spine to eradicate all rational thought? Better ask the AMA.
  7:22pm
Disemballerina:
