Dead Corporate Eyes:

is this JD Emmanuel or Six Organs? I love it.
  3:24pm
Dale from North Dakota:

I love music that a reviewer would describe as "haunting". Thanks, as always, for awesomeness in the afternoon, Fabio!
  3:24pm
Looms:

Hi Fabio!
@DCE: it's Six Organs.
  3:27pm
slugluv1313:

LOVE this piece by Six Organs of Admittance . . . *fond memories* of running out to buy the CD when i first heard it (here on WFMU, of course!) and hearing my then-upstairs neighbor banging on the ceiling whilst i was working on the computer, as "River of Transfiguration" flowed out of my speakers . . . (and i did not even have the volume turned up that loudly . . . !)
  3:32pm
Looms:

Agreeing with these good words about SOOA; i have to say that the only solo gig by Ben Chasney (as SOOA) i ever experienced is a cherished memory.
  3:36pm
Sandy in Houston:

JD lives in Houston.
  3:36pm
bw:

  3:37pm

I did a piece on him ages ago, met him later, very very cool guy. I saw him solo once, he was playing great, but also quite hilarious.

Cecile - JD? rad. He's played at the concert series here a few times and recorded with my exboyfriend a few weeks ago.
  3:42pm
Looms:

@Cecile: Hilarious, really? Good to know, it means that his shows are unpredictable. When i saw him, he was totally impressive, but no fun at all (mourning Vic Chesnutt)
