Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

So the quiet part is still part of "Fiberglass Cheesecake"? Hmm, I'm liking this Cleric band. Mixing extremes like that is like King Crimson on 'roids!
  Tue. 6/29/10 5:03pm tim:

Oblivians and The Gories did some shows together last summer in Detroit and Memphis. I didn't make it but some of my friends went to shows in both cities and said both bands slayed.
  Tue. 6/29/10 5:04pm Duke of Earl Grey:

  Tue. 6/29/10 5:25pm Pietro:

Check out their "Gaudete"--heard it at age nine, still shivers me timbers
  Tue. 6/29/10 5:29pm Matt from Springfield:

@Pietro: Duly noted--thanks.
@ßrian: As with Vashti Bunyan, I was surprised I never knew of Steeleye Span when I first heard them. Then again, this wouldn't be the first time FMU's brought a gem back into the sunlight.
  Tue. 6/29/10 5:58pm Reconnez Cherie:

vivez longtemps la première fois !
  Thu. 7/1/10 9:39am SiHV:
