A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Loretta Lynn carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

morning all. @francis: i feel ancient when someone refers to a film from 79 as 'old'...
  Thu. 5/27/10 9:36am Francis:

Sorry Dale and everyone , I've hesitated writting the word old, feeling it was not really proper.
Thu. 5/27/10 9:38am north guinea hills:

all Trouble needs now is for her dj breaks is the sounds of a circus fire, as directed by Jodorowsky.

Morning Trouble ,
My FMU swag just arrived in today's mail!!!!!!! Can't wait to listen to your CD!!!!! woot woot !
  Thu. 5/27/10 9:46am trouble:

ha! funny you should say that NGH, we just had el topo in the house last week... and there was a circus fire in the 1964 " three lives of thomasina" that i enjoyed much more in the same week.
  Thu. 5/27/10 9:46am Cecile:

Trouble, do you have that song by Phoenix that goes, "if I ever feel better?" It kind of sums up my mood.
chuckct, dude. Listening to Radio Ethiopia at noon makes you see things.
  Thu. 5/27/10 9:48am dale:

@ francis, no offense taken. 1979 was a while ago....just wish time didn't go by so quickly.
Thu. 5/27/10 9:48am north guinea hills:

Trouble, I enjoy both of those movies very much.
  Thu. 5/27/10 9:49am Cecile:

  Thu. 5/27/10 9:52am dale:

3 lives of thomasina? wasn't that disney? we named a yellow cat we had thomasina back then. but we named a beagle ralph - have no idea where that came from.
  Thu. 5/27/10 9:53am Francis:

@ Cecile I was 8. I feel old right now.
  Thu. 5/27/10 9:53am Cecile:

Did anyone see the film C.R.A.Z.Y.? It's ostensibly categorized as a gay film, but frankly, if you have siblings, parents, like David Bowie or Quebec or just were a teen once, I think you'll find something to like in it. It really spoke to me.

I almost died when I heard a Garage Band clip I used for the Corn Weenie contest on Tacky House on TV
  Thu. 5/27/10 9:54am Cecile:

Yeah. The years have a way of doing that to you. Bastards.
  Thu. 5/27/10 9:55am Francis:

Troubled by the lack of Dub on my radio in this tropical weather.
  Thu. 5/27/10 11:05am newsjoe:

I think the "internets" phrase might've originated w/ George Bush.
  Thu. 5/27/10 11:06am Brian:

Perhaps "inter-nests."
  Thu. 5/27/10 11:07am sugarwolf:

My mother's boss lives in NJ & loves Christie. I don't know what drugs he's on.
  Thu. 5/27/10 11:09am dc pat:

internets definitely came from Bush The douchebag made up the word during the debates with Kerry.
  Thu. 5/27/10 11:10am emily waters:

I think that the last song in Nashville (sung by Barbara Harris) should be our national anthem: "It Don't Worry Me"
  Thu. 5/27/10 11:12am Parq:

Sugarwolf, all the well-to-do white suburbanites love Christie. That's why they elected him. Who needs libraries anymore when we've got the internet? (Or "internets").
  Thu. 5/27/10 11:12am Francis:

In the matter of french music, Trouble ,you're really my guru !
Happy birthday Cecile !

  Thu. 5/27/10 11:22am Francis:

  Thu. 5/27/10 11:23am Jennique:

Trouble, you have made me appreciate Sylvia Plath all the more.I never heard her speak before I listened to your show. Many thanks.
  Thu. 5/27/10 11:23am Kent Downing:
