A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Loretta Lynn carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

In case anybody's wondering, Ken made it through his herbal hallucinogen experience fine last night, at least up to when people started leaving the theater.

Gould used to soak his arms & hands in hot water for 15 min before he played.
  Thu. 2/18/10 9:16am Maestroso:

Believe it or not, that really works to limber up the hands before playing.
  Thu. 2/18/10 9:19am trs:

Rising to an ellipsis from my playlist last night.

  Thu. 2/18/10 9:47am dale:

  Thu. 2/18/10 9:48am chris:

I guess she fell in the funnel which led to the whirlpool
  Thu. 2/18/10 9:49am trouble:

i love watching the dog show, but this year i wasn't feeling it so much, my bad not theirs. although that wicked witch princess of the dark floorlength outfit could have been what broke the spell.
but i do love sadie!!
  Thu. 2/18/10 9:52am Cecile:

that is so funny. We were cracking up about that, too.
But it was lots of fun. And she bumped Leonardo DiCaprio on Good Morning America. I love it when the winning dog shows up on the talk shows. Everyone pretty much drops everything and goes "good doggie!"

Actually I think the daily talk shows would be a lot better if they just did that. Bring a dog and a baby on and just people being happy about them.
  Thu. 2/18/10 9:55am trouble:

i hear sadie likes to watch tv...
  Thu. 2/18/10 9:55am Cecile:

Yes! Animal Planet! LOL!

Hey Trouble,

I am in the deep and dark bowels of the research Anthropology department of the American Museum of Natural History. Every Thursday morning WFMU echoes through the halls and stirs up Margaret Mead's ghost.
