Listener comments!

  Sun. 1/10/10 3:11am Sue:

Joey Joe Joe! How are you? Were you at the FMU party?
  Sun. 1/10/10 3:12am Joe:

For a little while, Sue! Did you listen to it on the radio?
  Sun. 1/10/10 3:13am Sue:

I only caught the end of it actually. But I liked what I heard. I'm also liking your funky sounds, too!
  Sun. 1/10/10 3:14am Joe:

Thanks, Sue! Keepin' it funky, at least for a little while, for the folks boogie-ing home...
  Sun. 1/10/10 4:50am Mary Wing:

Joe, pick up the phone, eh?
  Sun. 1/10/10 4:54am Mary Wing:

Two Cat Stevens covers; for a moment I was worried that he had died, heh.
  Sun. 1/10/10 4:55am Joe:

God forbid! I just wish I had an actual Cat Stevens 45 with me!
  Sun. 1/10/10 5:06am jackotheclock:

hello, hello, hello....really enjoying the show...great Sunday morning with a cup of tea..here in Liverpool, UK..
  Sun. 1/10/10 5:08am Joe:

Hey, Jack! Good mornin' to you.
  Sun. 1/10/10 5:14am jackotheclock:

thanking you...loved the McCartney slice of the show...had't heard the MArianne Rosenberg song before...real groovy.

did you say that Sir Paul produced 'The Honeymoon Song'?
  Sun. 1/10/10 5:15am Joe:

Yes, he produced the whole Mary Hopkin album. She was one of the most promoted Apple signings, even had a big hit with "Those Were the Days."
  Sun. 1/10/10 5:20am jackotheclock:

cool..that's the only song i remember of hers..'those were the days' i've been really getting into 'give my regards to broadway' he's a great actor!
  Sun. 1/10/10 5:20am jackotheclock:

i mean...broad street.. pardon me.
  Sun. 1/10/10 5:22am Joe:

I think she may have had more hits in the UK, but only that one here.
  Sun. 1/10/10 5:29am Mike:

  Sun. 1/10/10 5:30am jackotheclock:

i found out the other day that Freddie Mercury once lived on Penny Lane..if only for a short while...he joined a band from Liverpool called IBEX..it didnt last long.
Sun. 1/10/10 5:31am Brian in UK:

Joe, like the Turkish groove. Thinking of going to Istanbul in May. Here's a link to Mercan Dede who plays some cool Sufi sounds. http://www.mercandede.com/EN/?Ney=Music&Blow=Albums
  Sun. 1/10/10 5:33am Joe:

Hey, Mike and hey, Brian! Glad you're digging the Turkish sounds. I've heard that Turkey is amazing from everyone I know who's been there. Apologies to my Turkish friend Olgu--I forgot the Uc Hurel 45, Olgu!
