Listener comments!

  12:03pm
Carmichael:

Happy Monday, Liz!
  12:05pm
Liz B.:

Happy Monday, Carmichael, and anyone else out there. The caffeine is slowly creeping in...
  12:05pm
R!SKY:

Lets go liz! I'm trying to bang out a project due at 1pm. I know you can help with the jams!
  12:18pm
Liz B.:

Hope the meditative jams get you into work mode, Risky.
  12:20pm
Ike:

Hmmm. I may need to fly to Chile and beat up some lo-fi punks for abusing apostrophes on their record covers! Do they have huaraches in Chile? I need huaraches. There weren't any in Red Hook this weekend, to my tremendous disappointment.
  12:21pm
Liz B.:

Bummer Ike, huaraches in Red Hook are tied with ball field ceviche.
  12:25pm
Ike:

The good ceviche truck wasn't at the ballfields either this weekend! Some of the trucks must not have come out for the final weekend. Only the bad ceviche truck. We had to settle for pork with yucca and pupusas. Spicy pork pupusas were the best.
  12:29pm
Liz B.:

Aw man, you got the shaft on ceviche and huaraches?! At least there were pupusas...
  12:33pm
Ike:

Yeah, I was sad. But I did discover some great Lebanese/Syrian places in Paterson recently, so at least there's that. Anyway, great show so far!
  12:44pm

Yo Stingy
  1:58pm
Liz B.:

Will probably grab a sandwich after 3... never eat during my radio show... not coordinated enough to eat and radio at the same time.
  1:59pm
Carmichael:

Hey Stingy, what up? GP, what is that crap you ate called "Psushi"?! They told you what's NOT in it; did they tell you what IS in it?

I'm having some good ol' All-American tacos for lunch.
  2:08pm
stingy d:

  2:14pm
postmanpaul:

brilliantastic set liz!
  2:15pm
jackotheclock:

hello...from liverpool, england..

groovy..
  2:18pm
jackotheclock:

oh, may i ask Liz...why is your show not transformed into a podcast?
  2:21pm
Liz B.:

Hey Liverpool!!! The truth is, I'm too lazy to do a podcast! If the record industry had a podcasting license then we could podcast every show on WFMU. The way things stand now, many record labels see podcasts as providing illegal downloads. That's why only WFMU shows that are mostly talk, or contain podsafe music are found on our podcast roster. I should really do a podcast of all the great stuff I find on the Free Music Archive... maybe that will be a new year's resolution.
  2:23pm
GP:

Ha Carmichael..don't want to know! Something I picked up at the Kroger by my office.
  2:30pm
dc pat:

had Greek vegetable sangwich-bunch of raw veggies, black olives, w/ Greek dressing on whole wheat tortilla with jalapeno potato chips...I feel good now.
  2:30pm
jackotheclock:

  2:31pm
jackotheclock:

  2:33pm
postmanpaul:

  2:36pm
ISSAC:

Bill Altice:

Shocked and mystified that WFMU DJs were playing something in the fall called "Revenge of the Titfield Thunderbolt". I'm producing a multi-set compilation of that music right now. Drop me a line, if you'd like to hear more about it.
