Danne D:

A quick hello to all the Funk Friends.
Still in mourning over my crushing loss in the Happy How Do You To You Baseball League, but I'll manage...somehow. :) Thanks for a fun time efd and congrats to that ubergoober character - I came close for a little bit there but could merely flail away fecklessly at the end. I really appreciate the invite and had a lot more fun than I anticipated :D Thanks to the other league members for making fun (oh and course congrats to Aharon on making like Pokemon and catching 'em all - that is at least one player on each team - wtg) :)

Danne D:

And just like that I'll say farewell - not so commenty tonight. Though I will say I'm happy to see EFD stay on the schedule. As a happy final note, I'll point out that there WILL be a Cinco De Funko next year - it just will take place during the last 2/3 of Evan's show instead of the first 1/3 like it did this year.

Cheers :)

Danne D:

For the record, Tops Diner is in East Newark (which is a small town in Hudson county across the river from Newark). It's right on River Road.
  3:13pm
Joseph Davis:

Hey Evan,
Saw you played "She's A Mover (alt. take)" and wanted to see if the Star & Micey CD and press kit was received. We addressed it to attn: Music Director. Jody Stephens of Big Star played on the song "Nelson" and if you could play that song, we'd greatly appreciate it. "She's A Mover" was written about my Aunt Diane who used to work here at Ardent in the 70s!
Best,
Joseph Davis
