Sean, I believe Dei was referring generically to pre-programmed effects pedals for guitar: fuzz, echo, wah-wah, phase shifter, etc .... They are cheap and plentiful these days, thanks to the pioneering work of Mr. Paul. | |

sorry Sean, actual work interrupted me. Effects are the glamor wigs of electric instruments - Les Paul developed all these settings to make sounds tinny*, woody*, or just the right reverb - so now hacks like me can play a keyboard with my face and run that sound through a device (the "pedal') that hence makes the sound pleasing to my ear. * GORN | |
