August 6, 2009: FILLER EPISODE Interviews/Songs/Live In-Studio ... Suggestion: Bypass

Listen to this show:

Artist Track Album Label Format Comments Year
Alice Cooper  Halo of Flies   Killer  Warner Bros.  LP  A favorite  1972

Clay with Two Dudes on the Street
Mahavishnu Orchestra  One Word   Birds of Fire  Columbia  LP  Best fusion ever. A Miles Davis song.  1973

A weak live monologue (was very nervous).

Hotel Doorman - Mid-Town
Beach Boys - Brian Wilson  Surf's Up   Surf's Up  Brother  LP  A fave. Gorgeous. His talent is remarkable.  1966

Oregon vs. Bloodrock
Bloodrock  Hangman's Dance   USA  Capital  LP  I love this LP. Dated and hackneyed and wonderful.  70's
Three Dog Night  One     ABC Dunhill Records  LP  Harry Nillson composition complimented by the supremely wonderful vocals of 3 Dog.  1969

Enter Terez

Meeting Bill Clinton!
Sparks  Amateur Hour   Kimono My House  Island  LP  I love this Sparks LP. Terrific. IMHO  1973?

Typical Couple Spouting
Ratt  Round and Round   Out Of The Cellar  Atlantic  LP  Pearcy has that great snotty vocalist quality I dig. Good hair band stuff. Lay it Down is also a fave.  1983

Ratt Chatt

Marshall Brodine

Mahavishnu Chatt

Baqi Tokk
ELP  Toccatta   Brain Salad Surgery  Manticore  LP  Endless Guilty Pleasure  1973

Brit Bit - In Line at Shake Shack

Short Inferior Everett Hubney Sketch - Buckinghams Collage
This show was obviously a filler episode, which sometimes happens when I run short of time to produce a "proper" episode. My sincere apologies, as I felt this one was pretty inferior. Interviews were gathered here and there and cobbled together with in-studio live chat and songs (that I have played too many times already). Yes, I'm hard on myself, but this episode ---- FAIL.

At any rate, thanks to you, trooper, for sitting through it. You are indeed loyal and appreciated always. Write me an e-mail and tell me where you are located and what's on your mind these days. Show opinions and suggestions are always welcome. Politcial viewpoints, musical favorites, etc.

Until next time, take care and ... always remember. CP
