Odd question (for me) I just heard about this group Noah and the Whale right now. You don't have any of them do you?
|
Mon. 7/27/09 1:09pm
Joe Steele:
This, by the way, is awesome.
|
Mon. 7/27/09 1:24pm

|
Mon. 7/27/09 1:30pm
Stoned Mellotron:
love the show today Liz! I had a random question. Do you have a favorite band/artist? Top 3?
|
Mon. 7/27/09 1:31pm
Joe Steele:
No prob. I'll probably have acquired some of them myself by then.
|
Mon. 7/27/09 1:35pm
Liz B.:
Stoned Mellotron, you ask a loaded question (how could I ever choose just 3?), but I'd say Deerhoof is usually up there.
|

|
Mon. 7/27/09 1:38pm
Liz B.:
I think I agree with you , Sara, though I found the new OM less annoying the second time around.
|
Mon. 7/27/09 1:42pm
Sara:
Heya Liz - um, I think that might be what they call damning with faint praise...
|
Mon. 7/27/09 1:44pm

Stoned Mellotron:
well, it's fun to ask. I feel that Brian Turner's fav is fleetwood mac and I think Trents is probably flreetwood mac. so I just wanted to see how many FMU dj's love the mac. Jk, kind of. I was really just curious...I have a top 3 - 10

Ike:
APW this year, bleh! Might be great if it didn't have those lame-ass washed-up headliners like Tool and Jay-Z jacking the price way up. They couldn't just do it with MBV, Neko Case, Elbow, YYYs, Trail of Dead, and the National? They have to play second fiddle to TOOL?!? Sigh.
|
Mon. 7/27/09 2:24pm

Jeff M.. i was just thinking the same thing..I don't remember which FMU host played that CSI mashup thing, but it it was weirdly mesmerizing and totally creepy at the same time hearing all of David Carusos lines.
