Listener comments!

  8:08pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Hey --- What's up? I think the rain may be over for today. Only two or three downpourings here today. I can see the nearly full moon rising in the east.
  8:30pm
john:

EVERYBODY'S listening, just overwhelmed by the ineffable brilliance that was the Hudson Brothers. Zero sarcasm content, for the ironists in the crowd.
  8:32pm
pseu:

john, STOP MESSING WITH MEEEEEE!!!
  8:33pm
dDave:

cool Steve Miller tune!
  8:33pm
john:

Srsly. I'll fire a flare to indicate when I'm messing. It's the goddam HUDSON BROTHERS here.
  8:44pm
dDave:

i recognized that song
  8:56pm
Ed Word:

  9:04pm
coalhard:

  9:04pm
Laurie:

Hiiiiiiii, Pseu. I just got back from dinner at Michy's. I had two half plates: jamon serrano y blue cheese croquetas with fig marmalade and, as always, sauteed sweetbreads. Yum.
  9:09pm
pseu:

hi Laurie!
cheese jam and bread...
da-lish.
  9:10pm
coalhsard:

was the chef ratatouillie? perhaps
  9:12pm
Laurie:

Oh man, Beck's one of those scientologists that makes you just sad.

When I was around 19, I was SO BUMMED to learn that Jason Lee was a scientologist. Very disappointed. I couldn't listen to that All Girl Summer Fun Band song without pouting. Now I'm more disappointed with this My Name Is Earl bullshit. I would consider overlooking his weirdo cult for a one night stand, but the shitty sitcom is a dealbreaker.
  9:14pm
coalslaw:

check please!
  9:14pm
bartelby:

I think Beck was born into Scientology though
  9:15pm
Laurie:

Coalhsard: Um, I think you mean Rudy Rude, the rat with 'tude??

And no, Michelle Bernstein is the chef. My brother had crispy pork belly, my mom had the white gazpacho, and my daddy had a polenta with a truffle poached egg and, I shit you not, bacon bits. They were fresh bacon bits, though, not, you know, bac-o-bits.
  9:15pm
Bill W:

pseu, i'd love to believe in Tania Palin, but you do know it's just 2-1/2 years till the next presidential caucuses? That's not much time for a woman to raise the $200 million required to purchase the office these days. (Like the neolib do-nothing rock star currently occupying it did...OOPS, what i say?)
  9:18pm
Bill W:

also, sugar-free HOT choclolate in JUNE?? how high you crank that A/C??
  9:19pm
Laurie:

Pseu, I want to share the favorite sentence I read today: "MANHUNT Daily is aware about your feelings on outing the finger-bangable Heroes and Star Trek star."

You've got the reins in one hand, the cocaine you bought from those Amish punks in the other, suddenly Melinda knocks your highball off the dash of the coach and onto your shoes. The coke is dispersed by a sudden zephyr.
