I saw a Lenny Bruce documentary a few years ago... In it his former wife was interviewed, and she said at the beginning of his comedy career he found a copy of "Bake Dat Chicken Pie" in a thrift store. He found it to be twistedly hilarious, and began to sing it live in his comedy act, with his wife singing the harmony.
