Marshall Stacks:

Cromagnon home page (good morning, Liz):

  12:15pm
GP:

Good morning Liz and everyone, have not caught your show in some time..hope you enjoyed your trip to Europe.
  12:17pm
Liz B.:

Hey Marshall and GP and everyone else, hope your Monday isn't treating you too harshly!
  12:19pm
still b/p:

Not harshly, just damply...and endlessly so.
  12:20pm
Cecile:

eh, I'm going to take a break.
this is the kind of folk that sounds to me like deranged Delaney and Bonnie on way too many drugs or too much grace or both. Be back in a while
  12:21pm
Liz B.:

Had a great time in Europe, lovely break from a rainy June in NYC (I'm sick of it, too). Kind of bummed about MJ, Farrah, Ed, etc.
  12:22pm
dc pat:

SKY SAXON! sheesh...
  12:23pm
Marshall Stacks:

Bad month to be a celebrity.

I guess that's some comfort to the rest of us, toiling in obscurity as we are.
  12:23pm
Liz B.:

Sorry I called Sky "etc"
  12:24pm
GP:

Don't forget Billy Mays
  12:25pm
Cecile:

I loved Billy Mays

now he's out of the matting and into the padding..
  12:26pm
dc pat:

i'ts ok, he was the first person to die last Thurs and he just got left in the dust because of all the other jerks dropping like flies..
  12:26pm
Marshall Stacks:

A nice Monday morning (Pacific time) groove you're got going, Liz.
  12:28pm
doug from dc:

All this deranged folk is gonna send me to the record store (thanks, Liz).
  12:28pm
Carmichael:

Good morning Liz. I dig the psychedelic soft folk, full of social consciousness or inane blather.
  12:40pm
north guinea hills:

i have to admit, my first concert experience was when my father took me to the thriller victory tour when i was 7 years old.....
  12:46pm
Joe Steele:

Gots the last of my stuff last week. Boo ya.
  1:07pm
BSI:

dammit!
where the hell have I been?
  1:25pm
dc pat:

god I love the Collins Kids...say, how old are they?
  1:26pm
Carmichael:

They're about 65-ish now, Pat.
  1:49pm
fishmonkeystew:

I am happy to say that my first concert was Pink Floyd and not Michael Jackson, though I do admit that I owned Thriller when I was 10.
  1:49pm
dc pat:

precisely, they should be called the Collins Grown-Ups now.

You watch the US vs Brasil game? Roller coaster...
  1:52pm
Carmichael:

Don't get me started on the US meltdown. I can't even listen to Brazilian music anymore ....
  1:52pm
BSI:

Roller-coaster indeed... Donovan's sprinting goal was a lovely thing. For a while there I was sure it would tie-up & go all the way to kicks...
  1:59pm
dc pat:

hey, the US did fine--I think it's less meltdown than Brazil waking up.

I thought it would go to PKs too.
  2:01pm
BSI:

Hilarious: quote Steven Goff on the Post's soccer blog:

After untold references, Alexi Lalas must be banned from using the word "Banshee."
  2:07pm
Tom:

Yeah, Brazil seemed more themselves the 2nd half.
  2:11pm
annie:

back in the house for the last hour of LIZ!!!! yay! i beat brazil!
  2:21pm
Tex:

Cannibals Cannibals Cannibals !!!...
Love it Liz ...
cheers
  2:26pm
BSI:

Tons of Brazil national kit was in evidence on Saturday (DC carib.carnival goes down half a block from home) -- so it seems the USA didn't have a lot of supporters in my 'hood. HA!

and yes, I was breakin' all kinds of things in my office via flailing around with the cannibal dance.
  2:34pm
annie:

liz, i'm glad to have caught the last hour of the show. gonna listen from afar now, but still have the ear tuned!!!
  2:36pm
Liz B.:

Thanks Annie! It's gettin' crazy up in here.
  2:52pm
dc pat:

  2:55pm
north guinea hills:
