chuck berry is the man
  9:51pm
Ike:

Now you just need a Maryland song and/or a Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel song to link the Delaware song geographically (via the Delmarva Peninsula) to those Norfolk lyrics.

Wheatfield Soul is the title of The Guess Who album.
  10:06pm

  10:13pm
Ike:

But what happens if the scorpions get into the radish liquor? Or was it scorpion liquor? Don't let the scorpions brew their own beer!
  10:29pm
fmuidiot:

Barkeep. I am guessing that the next time I post, you will assume I have had a few beers. Weather this is true or not. Thanks for the profiling.
  10:31pm
Mr Spriggs:

You damn hippies! Ya'll know my meat falls off the bone, come n' get sum
  10:32pm
Ike:

Dan, people around here ARE "making their own radio stations," particularly in Flatbush, Paterson, Newark, the Bronx, etc., often interfering with legit stations (even sometimes FMU), and that's why it's bad. The FCC can't keep up. It's mostly overmodulated Haitian shouting and Caribbean and Latin sounds. And one Slovak. When they mess with FMU's signal then I really wanna go put some scorpion-flavored radishes in their sorrel drink.
  10:44pm
fmuidiot:

Ah... Mr your post was a little disturbing. If it is what it sounds,, than great. If it needs more explanation now is the time to give it.
  10:49pm
?:

OK. Folks, we have a little over an hour left of Stochastic goodness. The only question to ask is this: If an idiot speaks in a forum, and nobody pays attention, does he/she really say anything? This lovely show is too short to entertain agitators.
  10:50pm
Ha!:

Stochastic Beth, meet Dave the Spazz :-P

love that ? and the mysterians organ work!
  10:52pm
G:

  11:51pm
gerardo:

the name is pronounced /oogo feelio/, the album sounds something like /para'eeboo/, and the song should sound like /valsee para fa'breechee/
  11:54pm

Shot down on the air, dude!!!!!
  11:56pm

Awkward Moment:

  10:11am
Paul:

I must confess that 'Quark, Strangeness and Charm' had a little corner in my heart for the past 30 years. Then I heard again just now and I thought 'Oh No!', but perhaps that frees the space for something else!
  10:47pm
Jon:

50% more later in the week.
  12:08am
P.S. Mueller:

Thanks so much for playing Laminations a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely amazing! You're the best.

Pete
  2:40pm
Gregory:

Sorry to post this a year late, but one possible correction. Bethany said that the difference between the Stones' and Beatles' version of "I wanna be your man" is the difference between Mick Jagger and John Lennon. However, wasn't the Beatle version sung by Ringo? (A: Yes, Wikipedia tells me it is so, and so I believe.) It had that 4-note range that was Ringo's sweet spot.
