holland oats:

is it over?
  12:12pm
Cecile:

Robin, a frog, nearly had me weeping into my espresso...
  12:13pm
paul from Sheffield UK:

Robin, nephew of Kermit, wasn't it?
  12:15pm
Scott:

Hi Everyone! Glad you all loved that Nisei thing as much as I did!
Paul, you are of course correct. And cousin to Genesis P-Orridge too, I'd say
  12:15pm
Cecile:

that is right!

I am, too, Scott.
  12:16pm
Kermit P-Frog:

Yeah, a lot of the muppets got into TOPY back in the day.
  12:18pm
Cecile:

For some reason, I see snuffaluffagus folloiwng Hawkwind around by caravan myself...
  12:19pm
Carmichael:

Hi Scott. Like this Orcutt stuff.
  12:19pm
Samuel Beckett:

Lights up.
A frog sitting on the stairs, halfway up, halfway down...
  12:21pm
paul from Sheffield UK:

Blimey, Hawkwind! I would have loved to have seen the Muppets band doing Master of the Universe or even Orgone Accumulator. That really would have made rock history !!
  12:22pm
Carmichael:

That cool band with Animal drumming could do Silver Machine really well, I bet! Or Caravan's Nine Feet Underground.
  12:24pm
BSI:

I could swear Animal was drumming when I saw Hawkwind at the Wetlands circa '89... or was it the stuff I found in the bathroom? What?
  12:26pm
holland oats:

sky - bwahaha! who did that interview, warhol?
  12:27pm
paul from Sheffield UK:

Stoned people say the things that are closest to their heart. It's rather charming, I think.
  12:29pm
Gov. Sanford:

Stone in love people, too...
  12:34pm
paul from Sheffield UK:

Eno. Now we're talking. His first two albums are terrific. And after Roxy Music dropped him, Roxy Music was half the band it was.
  12:34pm
Ike:

Eno Eno Eno! Oh yeah.
  12:37pm
doug from dc:

My vinyl copy of Before and After Science is now thirty years old. I bought it the week after WGTB went off the air.
  12:41pm
Ike:

Oh wow, WGTB. That was before my time, but I remember wondering why D.C. non-comm radio sucked (and continues to suck) so hard, then reading all about WGTB's fate and being outraged. The original WJHU, and undoubtedly many other college stations, met a similar fate.
  12:43pm
cd morf guod:

  12:45pm
doug from dc:

Someone told me about this recently:

  12:52pm
listener bryan:

I can't believe I missed the Muppet song! That's what I get for tuning in late.

Any more Muppets up your sleeve?
  1:07pm
BSI:

Speaking of PTV, this Blues Control thingie is quite the PAGAN DAY vibe, innit?
  1:08pm
J-Mar:

just tuned in myself and am very bummed that I missed "Hot Child in the City" backwards.
  1:10pm
paul from Sheffield UK:

It's riffing like Hawkwind, yet it has a kind of bellydance rhythm going. It can get catchy.
  1:13pm
BSI:

agreed Paul:
somewhere between HW and Prince Rama...
  1:19pm
Man in the Macintosh:

<-------- Don't you believe a word he says.
  1:20pm

  1:24pm
paul from Sheffield UK:

How about Pet Clarke's Don't Sleep in the Subway? I like to think of myself as a man without any great weakness. But that song always makes me break up. Terrific songwriting.
  1:25pm
?:

Clark not Clarke
  1:25pm

  1:36pm
randy in nc:

Scott, yes
  1:41pm
Bad Ronald:

Hey Scott, any chance you could pepper in an Entwistle solo tune today to commemorate the anniversary of his passing. Maybe something off of "Rigor Mortis Sets In"?

Just a thought...
  1:43pm
gumby:

Some people think of the word bombastic as bad. But this Broughton Band tune is a Delicious Bombast if ever there was one.
  1:51pm
Rob:

That's boombastic.
  1:53pm
gumby:

I concur Ron.
  1:53pm
dc pat:

  2:22pm

HI Paul - NOT A FINGER
  2:23pm
Tim Serpas:

Kolchak!
  2:23pm
dc pat:

isn't he saying "BUTTERFINGER!"
  2:27pm
paul from Sheffield UK:

The 'not a finger' refrain could become the new fashion item for all contemporary music. It starts here.
  2:30pm
dc pat:
