I usually avoid the big gigs, what I like to do is just walk around. With all these bands it's a bit like slowly turning a radio dial, another kind of band scanning.
A cool sight from last year: a butcher had set up a couple of turntables outside his show and was DJing between serving customers, bloody apron and all.
