I dont want to be rude, but can I join in?

Sun. 6/14/09 10:36pm From: G

Yes! It's not zero sum, it's cumulative...

Sun. 6/14/09 10:37pm From: FMU idiot

Thanx

Sun. 6/14/09 10:38pm From: Pete

Cool piece. I was actually sitting next to Morton this time last week in the Issue Project Room courtyard (his wife was performing.) Wish I'd known it then!

Sun. 6/14/09 10:45pm From: ranjit

is that a khaen??

Sun. 6/14/09 10:47pm From: bethany

Ranjit, are you using that iPhone app?? I knew it.

Sun. 6/14/09 10:47pm From: drew in carroll gardens

wow...that Adler piece was mesmerizing...

Sun. 6/14/09 10:49pm From: ranjit

Is there an iphone khaen simulator?? If so, I may have to give in and get an iphone after all!

Sun. 6/14/09 10:50pm From: ranjit

...or some sort of iphone ethnic instrument identifier? Hold your phone up to the radio and it says "I think that's a vielle, or maybe a khaen"?

Sun. 6/14/09 10:51pm From: FMU idiot

Altough I do enjoy the show, I think I may be out of my league on the boards. Maybe not. We'le see

Sun. 6/14/09 10:52pm From: bethany

Nah, I was joking that you used the app where your iPhone tells you the name of a song if you ask it to listen....but I should know better. Instrument makers have UNCANNY ears and an enormous amount of knowledge about instruments like the Khaen.
PS - you were right.

Sun. 6/14/09 10:53pm From: drew in carroll gardens

other voices are always welcome in our fugue, just so long as one doesn't get too carried away...
