roommate disasters:
There was a rock band that lived above us. Their stupid friends stole our Christmas presents on the stoop and played bass at 2 am on Wednesday, and got my husband fired from a temp job cause he overslept.

There are multiple incoming lines, Cecile. While they are talking with everyone who called before you, you ring and ring and ring.

On national talk shows, screened people listed on the waiting callers board wait sometimes an hour or longer. On screenerless shows, FMU picks up a new line when they hang up with an old caller. Read a book while it rings. :-P

you know, ever since Eric starts calling regularly with that arrogant, superiority , know-it-all voice, I just had start listening to this show via web after it was taped live, so that I can skip the part when he calls.
