Listener comments!

Sat. 5/2/09 2:41am From: Larry

Hi Bill, welcome back. Drone on as you wish. Does your mood determine the music? From what you play, you seem forever interested in life! Good luck with new job.

Sat. 5/2/09 3:01am From: Joe

Man, that picture looks like my local town council meeting.

Sat. 5/2/09 3:05am From: Bill Mac

Hey Folks! Do they drink that much at meetings Joe?

Sat. 5/2/09 3:10am From: Joe

I hope so. It's either that, or massive incompetence.

Sat. 5/2/09 3:15am From: Joe

Oh, and I missed the first part of the show, but congrats on the new gig! Hopefully the new boss is not same as the old boss.

Sat. 5/2/09 3:23am From: michael

Hey Bill ! Good morning from germany.Missed the first part of the show. Means "new Job" the end of this show ?

Sat. 5/2/09 3:30am From: Bill Mac

Hey Larry,

Thanks for popping in, and thanks for the compliment on the musical selection. I'm as rested as I can be, and I missed a week so the new bin selection is pretty cool and expansive. The bottom line is that I'm in a good mood. It sounds good so far I think.

Sat. 5/2/09 3:31am From: Bill Mac

Thanks Joe, so far everything has been good at work. Early yet but I'm glad to be back and productive.

Sat. 5/2/09 3:33am From: Bill Mac

Hey Michael, hellooooo Germany!!! I'm hoping to keep the show regardless of working. This is my sanity!!!

Sat. 5/2/09 3:48am From: Joe

Dude, you are sending me your good mood through the radio, I swear to god. I'm studying for finals and it's almost as good as Adderall. (almost)

Sat. 5/2/09 3:54am From: Bill Mac

I just hope the vibes don't relax you too much. I promise not to get TOO droney.

Sat. 5/2/09 3:59am From: Joe

I think you're putting out too much positive energy to actually "drone". "Buzz" maybe.

Sat. 5/2/09 4:01am From: Bill Mac

OK..... setting the controls for buzz then

Sat. 5/2/09 4:22am From: Max

been diggin' the 80's sounding stuff

Sat. 5/2/09 4:23am From: Bill Mac

Lots of it today.... the Vaselines is 90s though....

Sat. 5/2/09 4:44am From: Tom L (Hallock Hill)

Sat. 5/2/09 4:49am From: Bill Mac

Hi Tom,
Two CD anthology of all of their released stuff might be had by emailing semperlofi@gmail.com...

Sat. 5/2/09 4:55am From: Tom L (Hallock Hill)

thanks for the tip. I loved that. Love King Khan and the Shrines too. Hot stuff.

Sat. 5/2/09 4:59am From: Zach in Philly

Woke up/tuned in to "Keep My Sleeper". I second Tom's vote. Can't wait to check out the excellently named "Semper Lo-Fi" label.

Sat. 5/2/09 5:01am From: Bill Mac

I'll be keeping Velveeta in the rotation as well

Sat. 5/2/09 5:04am From: Max

Hey Billboy,
Excellent show tonight !!!!

Sat. 5/2/09 5:12am From: Bill Mac

I M POOPED!!!

Sat. 5/2/09 5:17am From: Zach in Philly

The backing vocals alone on "Travillin Lady" are worth the price of admission.

Re: Pooped
No doubt. Work with a long commute can really take it out of ya. Oddly (or not) your music is great for being pooped. I've been catching up on the archives at work and it has been excellent for keeping me going through the grind.

Sat. 5/2/09 5:23am From: Bill Mac

You're a better man than I Zach. I wish I could go back and listen to more archives but don't have the time or the resources for that matter. Still get my daily dose of listening in though. Yeah, I have to agree the shows been great tonight. There was a lot of new stuff to catch up on so it was fairly easy today.

Need to check back on The Electric Asylum again.... it seemed there were other choice tracks on that one.

Sat. 5/2/09 5:34am From: Tom L (Hallock Hill)

FMP is blowing my mind! Fantasitc. What instrument is that?

Sat. 5/2/09 5:36am From: Bill Mac

The first cut on the album is a free jazz blowout, and then the acoustic piece. was not expecting that.

Sat. 5/2/09 5:50am From: Tom L (Hallock Hill)

Nazir Ali has put me in an amazing mood, woken me up and cleared away the rain.

Sat. 5/2/09 5:55am From: Bill Mac

It's pretty sunny in here right now..... thanks for sending me good vibes this week folks... see you next week!!!

Sat. 5/2/09 5:56am From: Max

I think it's Cambodia
