I remember seeing Auggie Busch Sr. riding around waving at the crowd on the beer wagon pulled by the Clydesdales with the Budweiser theme booming over the stadium with Stan Khan, probably, at the organ during the 7th inning stretch at Busch Stadium as a kid. @Parq - sports arenas were ALWAYS filled with commercial messages. Take a look at some old-timey photos from the 50s if you don't believe me. Hell, arguably the most famous feature of Ebbets Field was an ad (Hit sign, win suit). Old and quaint or not, ads are ads.
