Sun. 3/22/09 11:22pm From: gerardo

these lyrics are wonderful!. if i were a girl, and someone sings something like this to me, i'd fall in love immediately!

Sun. 3/22/09 11:23pm From: texas scott

if i were a girl and someone sang this to me,I'd turn GAY!!!

Sun. 3/22/09 11:24pm From: Ike

This one may not be in the stacks, but you might like the Japanese rock band called Supercar. A lot of their songs are good including "White Surf Style 5." There's also "Ishi" or "Delta" by Downy.

Sun. 3/22/09 11:24pm From: G

vaya con dios, my darlings...

Sun. 3/22/09 11:27pm From: gerardo

my parents listen to this johnny mathis song every two days at an oldies station they fancy...

Sun. 3/22/09 11:32pm From: Les Paul

You know, when people meet me, they're always surprised by one of two things... 1. I'm still alive or 2. I'm not a guitar.

Sun. 3/22/09 11:32pm From: bethany

Ike, my friend, the library here has neither of those! We'll have to save for a future show...

Sun. 3/22/09 11:35pm From: G

Les, people outside NYC may not know -- so let me mention that you still play here, more or less weekly...

Sun. 3/22/09 11:36pm From: Ike

I was doubtful but I thought it was worth a try. If you're not out of time/space, then I'd suggest "My Tiled White Foor" by Curve from the album "Gift". Or "Pass the Booze" by Ernest Tubb.

Sun. 3/22/09 11:37pm From: eric

i do think i know this voice... oh spring. such a time for things new and different.

Sun. 3/22/09 11:37pm From: C

Sun. 3/22/09 11:39pm From: cheri

scott---whats wrong with you tonight???

Sun. 3/22/09 11:40pm From: gerardo

Les Paul still active? - excellent news!

Sun. 3/22/09 11:40pm From: G

Haven't been there for a few years so I can't vouch about now -- is he 90ish? But speaking for when I saw him:

Yes, musically -- and also (not to be morbid, but...) for the "I actually saw him play" claim later on. I mean, that's more or less the origin of a lot of things we now associate with electric guitar, period.

Sun. 3/22/09 11:42pm From: C

cool, thanks. might try to check him out next time i'm up in new york.

Sun. 3/22/09 11:43pm From: spock
