I think the Forty-Five Fingers was also on that bill. As far as I know, no members of that band dated Carole King!

Joe South played the guitar intro. He was a guitarist for Franklin's sessions in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and went on to write several hit songs, including "Hush" by Deep Purple.

Hey all ya plegders and will be pledgers, I did pledge today to Joe's show as Dan from Minneapolis. So great to see all of the over-seas listeners support. To all of the listeners: while WFMU is more than a family sized burrito of audio goodness for most people, after you make your pledge to WFMU, go online and find one more indie/community station somewhere on the planet and make sure you make a donation to that station when they run their fundraiser. Since you listen to WFMU, you get what I'm talkin' about. "Good Radio" is not dead, your hearin' it now.
