Throbbing Gristle Wednesday, April 15th, 8pm - 11pm on Strength through Failure with Fabio Formed in 1975, Throbbing Gristle are thee premiere Industrial/art/noise pioneers, with influence that has reached into almost every corner of modern experimental, and even popular music, visuals and culture. They disbanded in 1981 with members moving on to projects like Psychic TV, Coil, and Chris and Cosey, until reuniting in 2004. TG will be playing their first ever NYC show on April 16th at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple. The evening before from 8-11pm the original lineup of Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Chris Carter, and Peter Christopherson will be chatting with Fabio here in WFMU's studios, playing unreleased recordings and taking your live phone calls on Strength Through Failure! | |
