Listener comments!

  2:34am
Ike:

Goodness sakes, that Recording the Impossible is indescribably goofy and offensive, but in a good way. Sort of. Like South Park on acid and gunpowder tea.

The John Hill track's voiceover sounds like something off that dopey annoying witchcraft record that every DJ played a few years ago. Great music.
  2:46am
Boil Mac:

Yeah, I was keeping my fingers x'ed that the nice horny Asian man wasn't going to go overboard with his description of preferences of women and such. And you know what it's really difficult to stay mellow when someone sounds that..... pleased.....

Good to hear from you Ike
  2:50am
Ike:

This set keeps getting better and better. Too bad I'm about to pass out from exhaustion. Must remember to check the archives later. Don't boil, Boil.
  2:51am
Bill Mac:

Stand down, Ike.... get some rest...
  2:51am
adrian:

i agree. this is my first time listening and i'm procrastinating on sleep simply to see what sort of wonders you'll play next. this is superb.
  2:56am
Bill Mac:

Hey Adrian. Thanks a lot.... I never know whether the path I take when I get this stuff together is really gonna fly til I get it on the air. Your kudos humble me....
  3:36am
adrian:

you are blowing my mind. good stuff.
  5:05am
Pat:

happy new year mr mac ... good music as always
  5:14am
Héctor:

Hey Bill, you haven´t put everybody to sleep, we are hearing you at the other side of Atlantic, at least!
  5:16am
nu-ear = flu...:

thanx for yr wundermix this day - I'm currently bed-ridden with a stomach flu or something less malevolently alien... enjoying this at least...
I'm in Tokyo - sorry not very european...
  5:18am
Bill Mac:

Hey Folks,

Wow, thanks... I knew if I asked nicely you'd all come around. and when I say Europeans it's really just a figure of speech for everyone in the world...
  5:22am
Tony:

Lifelong Philadelphian here - enjoyed your comments on the Mummers. Whole show has been awesome - no dozing off...
  5:27am
A fellow strutter:

mummers are awesome!!! it took me till i was older to really appreciate them. the world doesn't know what they're missing
  5:29am
anne:

we're listening from tokyo too. making dinner right now, is 7:30 in the evening.
  5:30am
Bill Mac:

Thanks Tony,
Not a Philly lifer but I might as well be. Spent my 1st 22 years living in several parts of North Philly. It's still home to me. I've also learned to appreciate the Mummers over the years and I try to watch a bit of it every year. I might not be a staunch supporter but if the city decided to change the tradition too much it would bug me. You gotta defend the few institutions that are left...
  5:33am
Bill Mac:

Amen strutter. It's definitely an amateur enterprise that refuses to be cluttered by the over production and commercialism. I can never watch the Rose Bowl Parade. Everyone looks so warm tan and comfortable. That ain't New Years!!!!
  5:33am
Tony:

Yup. The Market Street detour was not a great idea.

Anyway, my listening activity this evening during the show has been a New-Year's sortout of several years' of paperwork and statements and bills detritus which has to go.

Show's been perfect.
  5:34am
Bill Mac:

Hey Flu and Anne from Tokyo!!!
  5:37am
don johnston:

i want to hear burmese please
  5:46am
Bill Mac:

I fixed that comment that I wrote to Strutter if anybody cares
