The Dark  Put Your Hand Through The Plastic (CD 2, track 28) (Listen: Pop-up)   Favoriting Scream Until We Die  Grand Theft Audio  They were from a suburb of Cleveland, & about 14 years old. The Cuyahoga River (which runs through Cleveland) had caught fire, Cleveland was / had been bankrupt, & the influence of such groups as Rocket From The Tombs, The Pagans, Pere Ubu, The Electric Eels & more was very much in the air.

These guys were so underage that, at least at 1 show, they were forced to stay in their dressing room, allowed out only to go to the bathroom or actually be on stage.

Raw rock, punk & hardcore from 1982 Cleveland.

If you're in Cleveland, check out the upcoming punk festival with bands from the early / mid 1980s....headlined by The Amazing Pink Holes!

Listener comments!

  11:29pm
Sylvester:

Good choices. I enjoy listening, although I way too old this music.
  11:30pm
Andrew:

You're never too old! Never!!!
  12:28am
Sylvester:

Would it spoil some vast eternal plan... if the punk recording engineers operated their equipment correctly? Like equalize it somewhat flat and don't compress the shit out of it? [with apologies to the author of "Fiddler on the roof"]. I'm really too old for that much distortions. But I'm still listening, although I switched to the headphones.
  2:01am
Sylvester:

Thanks and Goodnight from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.
