Mon. 11/24/08 7:37am From: Ike

Hello from Newark. Normally I don't have time to switch on the 'puter while running around getting ready for work, but the FM radio is especially bad this morning, so I have to risk it. And what a reward! This is hypnotic.

More hypnotic than the odd repeating pattern of static that WNYE is broadcasting. And nicer.

Mon. 11/24/08 8:07am From: Parq

Everything Dinah W did was extraordinary, but this version of "Heart" is especially memorable.

Mon. 11/24/08 8:13am From: Bradford Eugene LaBonte

Hey Parq - I agree!

Mon. 11/24/08 8:35am From: Bad Ronald

Morning folks!

Mon. 11/24/08 8:43am From: Bradford Eugene LaBonte

Morning, BR!

Mon. 11/24/08 8:48am From: Bad Ronald

Great show today Bradford! This Shandoroko is getting me going.

Anybody catch the Brian Wilson interview over the weekend?

Mon. 11/24/08 8:50am From: Parq

I caught the tailend of it, Ron. It was okay. He had a lot less to say than most of Shelley's interviewees. And it was shorter.

Mon. 11/24/08 8:51am From: Parq

Most of his answers were one-sentence.

Mon. 11/24/08 8:52am From: Bad Ronald

The label would only allow 5 minutes. So Michael tailored the questions to accommodate.

Mon. 11/24/08 8:54am From: Bad Ronald

He, (Michael), also mentioned that he gathered some of the questions from other FMU DJs. Did you contribute Bradford?

Mon. 11/24/08 8:55am From: Parq

Ah. So I missed the set-up. And I probably heard more than I realized. Sad about him and Mike Love, huh?

Mon. 11/24/08 8:56am From: Bradford Eugene LaBonte

No sir, but I probably would've spent the entire 5 minutes asking about "Pleasure Island" hypotheticals.

Mon. 11/24/08 8:56am From: Bradford Eugene LaBonte

Like, "On Pleasure Island, can you..."

Mon. 11/24/08 8:59am From: Bad Ronald

Yeah Parq.
That's funny Bradford but I think Michael wanted to avoid any ramblings...
I think the first question was "who did you vote for"?
