The lazy calm at the week's start. A few live performances included, but mainly music with an ear tilted toward string-driven things.

As a contemporary of Nick Drake, John Martyn and Roy Harper, guitarist Michael Chapman first emerged on the folk-music circuits of Cornwall, moving on to the fabled London scene. Blending elements of folk, jazz and classical styles, he created his own unique catalog of challenging, often autobiographical original compositions and established a formidable reputation as an intense live performer and musical innovator. Michael Chapman is about to release a new album and dropped by WFMU. |

could you slip in Subdivision Blues by Tom T. Hall if you have it? That goes thematically. I love this song, BTW!

Yes I went to school with Nico Korner and his brother and sister. I had some bad experience with his dad's windowpane and ended in hospital. Nico hung himself a few years later. :( Alexis played to us after school at our blues club once, it was great.
