Riff rock for riff raff, pop fizzle for the frazzled, chord changes of life for the menopausal teenagers, a safari in the jingle-jangle jungle.

Hey Sue, if you can add a few extra upbeat tunes tonight I'd appreciate it. I'm really down and out over Bronwyn's retirement.

Hi, I am cool with whatever you decide to play. My cat however is requesting some of the early solo work of Klaus Schulze

Also, I like your show, I enjoy it quite a bit, my only non-work night of the week.

Fri. 10/3/08 8:43pm From: da packs

Fri. 10/3/08 8:53pm From: john

Ah yes, digging one last night of the Thing (TM); back on the east coast for a week now, and life totally back to normal--dinner date last night ends up in emergency room (false alarm, ultimately. oy.); film at eleven....

Fri. 10/3/08 8:54pm From: C

No offense, John, but I don't believe you anymore.

Fri. 10/3/08 9:00pm From: john

No offense taken; I'm not sure I believe me myself. ER entrance to Lenox Hill is on 77th, plenty of parking on Lex late at night, side streets are trickier. Apparently there are certain salad greens you can't actually choke on.

Fri. 10/3/08 9:03pm From: C

Salud! You live an interesting life, man.

Fri. 10/3/08 9:15pm From: john

I don't make the news; I just report it.

Fri. 10/3/08 9:22pm From: vanilla slim

Fri. 10/3/08 9:46pm From: Laurie

Hiiiiii Pseu, hi Doug. I just got back from the Coral Gables Obama campaign office. I have lost my voice from phonebanking for HOURS . Yay me.

Fri. 10/3/08 10:03pm From: Julie

All confused, that Terry Reid song sounded a lot like an old Slade song, but the title is a Donovan song isn't it???

Fri. 10/3/08 10:04pm From: john

yay you indeed! and terry reid rawks! (superlungs is an old donovan song.)

Fri. 10/3/08 10:20pm From: vanessa in London

Oh man, I missed the potato salad story. Nice segue into the Lyres, eh?

Fri. 10/3/08 10:25pm From: mr h
