Listener comments!

Sat. 9/6/08 9:08pm From: Peter

Michael....is there a problem with the live stream? or its just my computer?...

Sat. 9/6/08 9:11pm From: Brian

There's been a few spots of dead air, but the realaudio stream is holding up pretty well on my end, for what it's worth.

Sat. 9/6/08 9:15pm From: Peter

Then its just my computer, i cant open the realaudio. i will see whats going on with it. thanks Brian...enjoy the show for me.

Sat. 9/6/08 9:27pm From: A.M. Tomas

Any guess as to when the Vivian Girls will be playing? Thanks.

Sat. 9/6/08 9:28pm From: mike g.

10:30 on the dot...

Sat. 9/6/08 9:29pm From: ?

Can't wait, Mike. One of the two best bands in Brooklyn (the other being High Places).

Sat. 9/6/08 9:30pm From: mike g.

and they're playing one after another tomorrow at south street seaport!

Sat. 9/6/08 9:32pm From: Brian

I know, I can't wait! Between that and Boris, what more could a man ask for?

Sat. 9/6/08 10:05pm From: timg

same beat, different bass?

Sat. 9/6/08 10:06pm From: mike g.

Sat. 9/6/08 10:07pm From: ?

ooh, thanks!

Sat. 9/6/08 10:23pm From: miguel

what label is that comet gain 7" on?

Sat. 9/6/08 10:27pm From: Brian

My god, this Sneak Preview song might be the best thing I've heard all day. Thanks, Mike!

Sat. 9/6/08 10:34pm From: mike g.

Brian, glad you liked the sneak preview track. Miguel, the 7" is on What's Your Rupture...

Sat. 9/6/08 10:43pm From: Wayne

You said the Fillmore East had nothing to do with rock nostalgia? I guess you're not old enough. The Who, The Dead, Janis, Jimi and a bunch of others played there over it's four year run.

Sat. 9/6/08 10:44pm From: mike g.

Wayne - i'm not questioning the legitimacy of the Fillmore East- more what connection it had to Irving Plaza.

Sat. 9/6/08 10:56pm From: randy in NC

The Fillmore East was on 2nd Ave. It was a sit down theatre, not a place like Irving Plaza. I saw BB King, ELP, Humble Pie, Moby Grape, Leon Russell, Derek and the Dominoes among other now "classic rock" bands there. Used to take the train in from LI. Still can't believe the parents would let me do that...

Sat. 9/6/08 11:04pm From: timg

yay! fizzbombs!

Sat. 9/6/08 11:04pm From: mike g.

my parents saw Moby Grape there... Skip Spence had just gone AWOL, and they were very disappointed. They also saw Big Brother & the Holding Company there...

Sat. 9/6/08 11:07pm From: Brian

Hot damn, a C86 track. Good stuff.

Sat. 9/6/08 11:10pm From: randy in NC

Maybe I was at the same show? As I remember, there was usually an early and a late Friday and Saturday show at the Fillmore. So each band played 4 times.

Sat. 9/6/08 11:36pm From: timg

fizz bombs and now starlight!

Thu. 9/11/08 2:03pm From: Dick Valet

Thu. 2/12/09 7:24pm From: scotty coats
