3) How, exactly, did you "shut em down"?
4) And what's wrong with your shift key, dude?
  Mon. 8/18/08 1:16pm Liz B.:

  Mon. 8/18/08 1:25pm Liz B.:

I can't take all the credit for instantrimshot.com, Listener Mel who edits the Best Show podcast showed me the way!
  Mon. 8/18/08 1:28pm Liz B.:

Mel told me about this one, too:
  Mon. 8/18/08 1:43pm Parq:

Liz, have you got one with a xylophone trill?
  Mon. 8/18/08 1:50pm HotRod:

  Mon. 8/18/08 1:53pm cod:

re: Mel and instantrimshot.com

t's like the blues, tho- can any single person claim pwnership ? ;)

(except maybe the person who made instantrimshot.com I guess)
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:02pm Jim:

I believe the correct spelling is "ownership".
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:12pm Doug:

What does a xylophone trill connote? Like someone shaking their head in astonishment?
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:13pm Bad Ronald:

Dream Sequence
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:14pm Doug:

Surely that's a harp glissando!
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:16pm Bad Ronald:

I stand corrected (shakes head in astonishment)
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:27pm Parq:

A xylophone riff, alternating notes played at increasing tempo, was often used as a transitional sound in early sitcoms. I admit I'm a bit obscure here, but trust me; you'd know if if you heard it.
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:28pm Bad Ronald:

meanwhile back at the ranch...
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:29pm Jim:

Like a guitar riff.
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:30pm the dictator:

greetings from atlanta, ga. thanks for the sound track to gd torture
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:38pm Dave:

Hey Liz, I have only heard your show the last couple of weeks but I noticed that you get really swinging in the last hour of your set. How come? Just like to ease into it?
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:48pm Sean Daily:

Does anyone happen to remember a kidvid show on TV called "The Great Space Coaster"? Cos "La Linea" was one of the cartoons featured on it. I am suffering through SERIOUS flashbacks from those tracks, Liz.
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:50pm monica:

hey, lady! totally loving your show today!! xo, mo
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:51pm Jim:

Yeah, me too.
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:52pm Liz B.:

Thanks Mo and Jim! Dave, my audio speed-up is a remnant from when I was on 9am to noon. Had to let the coffee work its magic before diving into the punkier side!
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:56pm Dave:

I still like your show the best, even if I have to wait for you to get fired up!
  Mon. 8/18/08 2:57pm Jim:

  Mon. 9/8/08 12:49pm Mark:

I live and surf in Laguna Beach CA, but grew up in NJ, then NYC. Was an avid listener back then. Had a business trip in NYC and heard Extra Golden on my way into the city. My brain has been altered in a very positive way. Thank you.
