Monday is good becuase I have been sick for 6 full days of grossness, missing four days of work. I finally have the energy to even listen to music. This is a good start. Liz, have you heard the Hospital's new LP? It is wonderful.
|
Mon. 7/28/08 12:21pm
Liz B.:
Oh no, summer sickness is never fun. Haven't heard the new Hospitals LP yet... unless it's "Hairdryer Peace" you're talking about. In any case, they are such a fun band, great live, too.

Laurie:
King Khan spent most of the day at the C stage during Pitchfork fest, just hanging out in short shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. He introduced Jay Reatard. During the show, he pointed to two jackasses with two fingers. He then pulled this bald guy's face down to his crotch and pointed at those two guys again. Yeah. The Cheap Time/Jay Reatard/King Khan show was great. There were freakouts and moshing all throughout. The girls go wild for those boys in Cheap Time. CHEEKBONES. Unfortch, the drummer grew a mustache. He made up for it, though, by taking off his shirt when he came back onstage to pack up his drum kit. Hello.
