hey T. just curious how do go abou finding your type of music, cuz i also like that steady beat witha female vocal over it,or somthing like "Like Stars in my Hands "by Single Gun Theory,or "Shes In A Trance "by The Heartthrobs, which i first heard in 1989,anyway,,,You got it down man,,thanks a bunch

hello david, well, it's a long and complicated process i only tell to other peopl when i'm on the influence of truth drugs. luckily i just ate a chipotle so i'll tell you i just listen to a lot of music from blogs and the new bin and pick the ones with the girls on it. then if it's good i go ahead and play it on air especially if it's got that beat. thanks for listening!!

Oh, that image is already from that website. Still.

This show goes well with beets and local garlic. (WOW, I forgot what real garlic tastes like! I've been using that worthless Chinese garlic for years. Chinese garlic = tasteless shit.)

My optical mouse requires a plain white sheet of paper (on top of my WFMU mousepad) or else the pointer occasionally goes berserk.

Mon. 7/21/08 10:25pm From: efd

Trent, you should come up to the 4th floor after you're show... I've got some leftover lukewarm pizza and lukewarm beer.

Mon. 7/21/08 10:28pm From: geoff's friend

geoff likes the hot chip sounds really different

Mon. 7/21/08 10:31pm From: G

Latvian is important to linguists as part of the small but interesting Baltic branch of the Indo-European language family -- you asked lol

uh huh, uh huh ...

Mon. 7/21/08 10:42pm From: Ike

I almost commented on EFD's horrifying spelling error earlier, but I didn't want to be obnoxious. Egad, that's appalling. I almost plotzed.

And isn't EFD a copyeditor or something?

Mon. 7/21/08 10:44pm From: G

omg, the end of civilization approacheth!

Mon. 7/21/08 10:46pm From: Ike

Yes. Yes, it does.

Oh wait, were you being sarcastic?

Mon. 7/21/08 10:49pm From: G

um, doesn't everyone sometimes deliberately pick things to say that could be taken lots of ways? O:-)

G and Ike thanks for commenting on the accuplaylist. i thought i would never hear the word "Plotzed" after 1989.

Dying to find out the name of the song you played prior to "Born Slippy" on the July 21st show. Please enlighten me, its not on the playist.

Wed. 7/23/08 5:33pm From: Anda

I was listening to your program and translating my conference paper as I heard some words sounding very similar to Latvian. How did this music by Pasaules Gaisma (meaning The Light of the World in Latvian) reached you?

Wed. 7/23/08 5:45pm From: Trent

That song before born slippy was from the tracklisting-free DJ chaos x mix. So no idea! Anda, that's quite a story! That CD was in the new bin so thank Brian Turner.

The song before "Born Slippy" was "Gathering Dust" by Modern English. Yes, THAT Modern English.
