The Push Bin is a collection of sounds recommended to keep your body twitching and your head throbbing. Beats, people yelling, noise, horror movie soundtracks, dub, rock, experimental, and hip-hop will all be mixed into one huge wonderful mess. All delivered in a highly caffeinated and friendly manner.

  Wed. 7/9/08 11:14pm G:

possibly fun dialect note --

my innercity high school teacher informants tell me that "word" is being pushed out by the exclamation "dead ass!" (gang slang)

i heard it being used by horseplaying high school kids friday night on the 2 train out to brooklyn, after sonic youth and fireworks...
  Wed. 7/9/08 11:16pm Lou Z:

Dead Ass has quite the ring to it. Anyone else hear any new slang lately?
  Wed. 7/9/08 11:23pm Liz B.:

I just learned some Mexican slang for yuppie/wanker: fresa (which means strawberry).
  Wed. 7/9/08 11:27pm listener jeremy:

negator last week on kens show. he used a phrase i'd never heard of but latched onto pretty quickly : he was "dragging intense ass" that morning. i kept that phrase alive happily
  Wed. 7/9/08 11:31pm Lou Z:

Not a new one but I just heard an 'FMU DJ use the term "shit the bed". A personal fave of mine.
  Wed. 7/9/08 11:39pm listener jeremy:
