How the heck do you folks find such cool tunes?
  12:40pm
Chris Ryan:

Great Music, where can we buy it ? I'd love the Zarang "Earth Sessions" but couldn't find available anywhere googling for 20 mins, not available from his site.
  12:45pm
Woody:

Hi Chris-

The Zerang/Baker thing was on Boxmedia, which I think hasn't really been up to anything in years, and the CD is probably out of print. Just googled and noticed no boxmedia website.... it was run by Brent from TV Pow, could probably email them...

Hey Woody....is there any writing or resources for the music you play? i'm interested in how your themes and emphasis.

that last bollywood track is also on the Rough Guide to bollywood music. a great compilation.
  1:42pm
Woody:

Well, I play a lot of different music and there are numerous texts out there related to specific genres.... There are a few good texts covering a larger overview of recorded music. Off the top of my head, I'd recommend John Corbett's book as a more general approach. The Radiotext(e) book also covers various approaches/histories/possibilities of radio.
