9:29am

 9:30am
Kosta:

 9:31am

lurdan:

 9:40am
Kosta:

Today, over 99% of all cultivated potato varieties worldwide are descendants of a subspecies indigenous to Chile..... SPUDS TRAVEL
 9:41am
jorge:

You have an email bout lazy peruvian sound checkers and delayed schedules.....dudley..dudley..dudley pleaseeee. haha.
 9:49am
Liz B.:

Didn't realize the origin of potatoes was so hotly contested. I read that they were from the Peruvian Andes, but now I see that Bolivia and Chile are also claiming to be the original potatoland.
 9:54am
jorge:

well at the beggining (yeah there was rythym) but also potatos and Peru was formed by all the countries that are part of south america now. Later when politicians start to play with the roots of everything (you know...politicians) they start to mess everything hoping to get some attention and cash retributions for their pockets.

Let´s ask France what do they think about that.
 9:57am
Kosta:

Good quip Jorge, hats off to you sir!
 10:01am
Parq:

So how, exactly, *did* they get to Ireland?

Hope everybody had a good Record Store Day. I kept saying "Record Fair Day" - force of habit, or just wishful thinking.
 10:02am
Kosta:

Leprichauns brought them over.....
 10:03am
north guinea hills:

i am digging total life, but i also love repetition.
 10:04am
Barney:

Are the origins of pisco as controversial as those of the potato? (is everything that starts with p and ends with o from chile or peru?)
 10:04am
Jorge:

thanks Kosta, it´s funny cause i guess all the kids there learn that everything was originally from their countries, but Chile is kinda tricky when it comes to "Originally made in" stuff.

Oh yeah, i have to recogn that i bring down potatos to Ireland originally.
 10:05am
Kosta:

 10:07am
