Hey it's an excellent soundtrack for trying to convince my new build to work with uncooperative Verizon DSL which seems to prefer my antiquated old 'puter. Stupid modem. Good show!

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 9:30am From: barney

The Tiger Lillies do a disturbingly over-the-top version of "Send in the Clowns", but it has no trombones.

bethany! good to hear you at this time. i enjoy listening to trouble but this certainly was a pleasant surprise.

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 10:19am From: north guinea hills

w/ the insomnia i had last night, i need more abrasive dissonance to stay awake at work today. something like merzbow do-si-do-ing w/ iannis xenakis as a young zorn throws them into a mulcher.....

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 10:35am From: Wes

What was the piece with the echoey steel guitars coming out of "DJ Speaks" into the Yuko Ikoma track??

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 10:36am From: Harvestworks

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 10:46am From: bethany

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 10:48am From: Wes

Thanks, ngh. Not sure why I don't own that, being a big time GYBE fan and all...

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 10:50am From: Wes

Right..."Deep Blue Day" from the album Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks, 1983....Thanks bethany!

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 10:52am From: Gregory

Hey, it's great to hear you again during the daytime, Bethany!

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 11:02am From: bethany

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 11:05am From: dc pat

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 11:15am From: jonathan

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 11:16am From: Thom

Great sets of music... thanks!
What record was the Ligeti piece from?

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 11:23am From: bethany

The Ligeti is Edition 6: (Keyboard Works) from the Sonly Classical Series. [The AMAZING mechanical music pieces are on Edition 5]. That harpsichord piece was performed by Elisabeth Chojnacka. Nice, right?

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 11:28am From: Thom

Yeah, really cool music... thank you for playing it.

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 11:51am From: b:)

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 11:54am From: j d

Wow. What an amazing string quartet by Jonny Greenwood. I can't wait to hear where his talent and versatility will take him in the coming years...

Thu Jan. 17, 2008 12:00pm From: Wes

Johnny always stated he was influenced heavily by the early Pink Floyd, so I knew good things were to come....

Thu Jan. 24, 2008 6:53pm From: Holly

That version of send in the clowns by lorez is incredible... I've always been looking for great lorez tracks ever since I heard her version of "baltimore oriole" (many years ago) but never find much. What album is 'SITC' on? has it been rereleased (I'm just assuming the original was on vinyl)?
