Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:05pm From: Bones from Wisconsin

How about something with a drum sosl?

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:07pm From: Bones from Wisconsin

speaking of red wine... i meant "solo" dammit!

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:08pm From: pseu

i think bones that you were trying to spell drum "slolo"

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:10pm From: Bones from Wisconsin

stop it! my stomach hurts!

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:13pm From: Wes

a bottle of wine would be nice....I'm working with some Greek Ouzo....ugh...not so enticing after dinner (but great before)

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:20pm From: ?

on with the drum schlomo!

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:24pm From: Wes

demented and drugged = amy winehouse, go to youtube and watch her take a snort of coke out of her beehive on stage

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:40pm From: Dan

The reason your pot roast fell apart is because you used the wrong meat cut. Use chuck roast because it has more calogen and connective tissue. As it slowly cooks, the calogen breaks down and helps tenderize the meat. What you used was too lean and just turned into mush.

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:47pm From: pseu

dan, did i not say that? I should have cheaped out -- i knew to do so but was intoxicated by the rump roast....

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:49pm From: Dan

Then roast it, not braise it. It'll taste much better.

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 9:53pm From: Bone from Wisconsin

You should also double-check the temprature of your crock pot with a thermometer. The one I have gets way hotter than what it says on the dial.

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 10:06pm From: pseu

LO=LOW. that's the setting!

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 10:13pm From: SueB

you leave the croc on at home unattended?

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 10:14pm From: Wes

no, she has a little butler that stands in the kitchen and watches it all day.

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 10:23pm From: SueB

what i mean is ... you not afraid of starting a fire?

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 10:27pm From: Ike

No, because Crock Pots are designed to be safe when left alone. I'll leave it to another commenter to explain the intracacies of the design and why it's safe.

Pseu, you mean channel 55 still exists?!?

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 10:32pm From: Bones from Wisconsin

Yeah, the crock pot will be UL listed which means it will be plenty safe. I wouldn't hesitate to leave mine unattened sitting in a pile of gasoline soaked newspapers for hours on end.

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 10:40pm From: pseu

RIGHT??!!! Mister Chang can get off his lazy ass and turn it off if it starts to smoke anyway.

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 10:40pm From: Ike

Damn, Cablevision in Newark doesn't carry WLNY 55.

Amy Winehouse is OK but I don't go for the whole "self-destructive artiste" bullshit act. Just sing, lady, and quit trying to bait the tabloids. Anyway as far as the women you two mentioned, Tina Fey is 1000 times hotter. And funny.

Great show. And Donna coming up next! Wooo!

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 10:41pm From: pseu

my cablevision carries it.

Fri Nov. 30, 2007 10:44pm From: Ike

I feel gipped -- I should complain to the Newark branch. Cablevision is mostly the same throughout NJ. But in Newark we get the Home Frakkin' Shopping Network on channel 10. (Do people REALLY still buy shit off of there?!?) Bastids!
