A free-range, grass-fed musical zoo, with mutts and purebreds equally represented. In other words, an ecstatic, psychedelic, danceable, hummable, moody, laughable, ontological seance of living sound and music I like. Today.

Listener comments!

Wed. 11/21/07 3:06pm From: Wes

Good afternoon, Maria. If you do cheezy online requests, I'd like to hear something by Big Blood (anything you pick) for my soon-to-be-wfmu-convert Erica :)

Wed. 11/21/07 3:08pm From: Wes

I suppose that would depend on whether or not you're "aqui" of course....

Wed. 11/21/07 3:14pm From: maria

'cept that Ken pLayed em this morning, I played em last week, and maybe need a little break. but stay tuned for more fun sounds, I am, more or less, 'aqui'.

Wed. 11/21/07 3:20pm From: Erik

So pretty, this Michelle McAdorey And Eric Chenaux . Thanks Maria!

Wed. 11/21/07 3:25pm From: jonathan

Wed. 11/21/07 3:28pm From: Parq

<grin> Shine on, Wes.

Wed. 11/21/07 3:32pm From: Wes

Houston we have a problem. Walked her out to her car today and what does she utter while we were looking over her new ride? The freakin "B" word.....

Wed. 11/21/07 3:33pm From: Wes

I'll reflect over this later (with a bottle of rum no doubt), but this whole mess was just a BIT misleading...

Wed. 11/21/07 3:34pm From: Wes

(and cost me 40 bucks)

Wed. 11/21/07 3:41pm From: Parq

Maria, FYI, the Listener Comments regulars have an ongoing caffeklatch involving a water cooler crush that developed during Liz B's show.

Wes, oozing sympathy here. The country song says that true love travels on a gravel road. So does the search for it, I'm afraid. Don't overdo it with the Jamaica Juice.

Wed. 11/21/07 3:45pm From: maria

Uh,,, thanks for clueing me in. maybe y's should start up yr own chat room to discuss these things....?jeez guys.

Wed. 11/21/07 3:47pm From: Wes

Sorry, Maria. I'll shut up and listen. Thanks much Parq, I won't overdo it. Usually the B-word is a bad sign, and I was in a bit of shock so I had to post. Gravel road indeed. I didn't even make it to the next Liz B show before getting shot down :(

Wed. 11/21/07 3:54pm From: jonathan

yeah!!! reverb is always good!

Wed. 11/21/07 4:38pm From: Irwin Chusid

Incredible EAS test, Maria! One of the best. I recall a Monday morning test that Charlie did in '03 that was among my favorites. Yours rates very highly. Top Five, perhaps. EAS tests were one of the most exciting segments of my Wednesday afternoon program, and you are carrying that tradition forward with grace and elán.

Wed. 11/21/07 4:41pm From: maria

Wed. 11/21/07 4:49pm From: maria

Wed. 11/21/07 5:13pm From: Parq

Silly me, I assumed that Grace and Elan were associate producers. Good holiday, M. Props for another terrific show.

Wed. 11/21/07 5:25pm From: Lupica

Woo, Starlite Desperation! They're so great, I hope this record finally gets 'em some much-deserved attention. Great show, Maria!

Wed. 11/21/07 5:34pm From: maria
