Sure, it's a decent song..but can't help thinking of seeing the Feelies in the back room at Maxwells many years ago. Great that most of them are here now still making songs, thanks for the update, Joe.

You rock Joe.. Good idea Michael :)

Sat Nov. 17, 2007 11:59am From: Ted

you didn't ask him why NRBQ "broke up". How come?

Sat Nov. 17, 2007 12:03pm From: Krys O,

Bobby Moore is WFMU-alumni R. Stevie Moore's daddy!

One of your best interviews, liked it etter than the Terry adams one. Joey S.'s manner & stories were enthralling...I didn't want the conversation to end...really, a wonderful interview.

Glad to see someone else appreciates the pop sensibilities of Kiss! A #1 hit for sure!

Sat Nov. 17, 2007 12:13pm From: SmokinJ

The interview was,as usual for Michael, amazingly revealing and yet personable. Rock On Michael!

Sat Nov. 17, 2007 12:33pm From: Keith

I agree w/ Phast Phreddie. It's a rite of passage when you first dig Albert Ayler.

Sat Nov. 17, 2007 12:37pm From: jimi-jimi

"Since I don't have you" is a rock 'n roll classic, featured on the soundtrack of American Graffiti & most likely several other compilations of early rock/vocal groups...

Marion Williams - love that track! Great music - love from Dubai in the Middle East!

By *golly*, if that "Truck Drivin' Woman" wasn't a terrific song!

THE MOUSE! My first 45!

Thanks for Joey interview Michael, I was especially glad to hear him say the "Q" was not broke. You can't really say enough about Joey or the rest of the guys, so it is a treat to hear Joey's version as he was always known as the quiet one.

Sun Nov. 18, 2007 7:12pm From: Emery Early

The Skyliners were anything but "One Hit Wonders." Perhaps you've heard of a huge hit by the name of "Pennies From Heaven?" In addition to that there was "This I Swear Is True," "Comes Love," and other tunes that at least charted. And by the way, "Since I Don't Have You" was a hit in 1959, not 1964.

Michael - One of the best NRBQ related interviews ever! Thanks! Is Tom next?

Fri Nov. 23, 2007 5:12pm From: Mike Scully

Mike, Thanks for keeping the Q alive on the radio. They are the best.
Take care, Mike Scully, "The Simpsons"
