WFMU 91.1 fm 90.1 fm wfmu.org

A free-range, grass-fed musical zoo, with mutts and purebreds equally represented. In other words, an ecstatic, psychedelic, danceable, hummable, moody, laughable, ontological seance of living sound and music I like. Today.

This Falstaff cover remains one of my top five reasons for living, (Only slightly edged out by "alcohol" and "my wife".)

Good, good... Glad we are all in agreement. I actually kind of Like Sinead O'Connor's version of that song, too, but don't tell Prince I said that.

Yes, Darjeeling Ltd. quirky, mesmerizing in a way...thoroughly enjoyable...Wes Anderson is still on track (no pun intended)...

Still available on Page 70 of FMU.org's "On the Download" pages, a live version of "Read About Seymour", recorded by Swell Maps in Italy in 1980. Worth a listen if only for the assurance, in the spoken introduction, that "It was famous!"

Wed. 11/14/07 5:27pm From: krex
