Irwin Chusid:

Hey, buddy! Dieter Schoon is disturbing. Me. I was not disturbed. Now I am. Undisturb me. It's Monday. I don't want to be disturbed. What's with Dieter?
  9:27am
Liz B.:

Dieter is a tad disturbing, but in a good way, of course. One of his other songs is entitled "Lot's of free Shoes but Nowhere to Run." Deep thoughts.

Irwin Chusid:

Here's a few umlauts and other diacritics for your playlist: ö, ü, ñ, é, ó, â, ê. Need more? Just ask.

geeking:

sure am interested in hearing what there is to appreciate about yoko kikuchi's vocals
  9:56am
Rob W:

Yoko kikuchi is fine with me... Meanwhile, great to hear the Polystar Shimauta Pops cd again. This music represents the dawn of Okinawan folk-rock, which remains a strong and distinctive genre, very different from (other) Japanese music (and still pretty unknown in the US). Gotta see if we can get someone to burn us cdrs or make mp3s of the other volumes. Anyone - ?

William Swan, Jr.:

At first I couldn't tell if Battles was the song or if Atlas was the band or vice versa. The only song I ever heard by Battles was "Atlas". Are they a one-hit wonder or do they have any more good songs? They were on New York Noise learning non-violent communication and it was a very clever idea for a show. WFMU gets a thank you in the credits.
  11:43am
jon:

battles has a member of don caballero and storm and stress, a member from helmet and some others that i forget.
they have some early ep's and a full length. all are good.
