Courtney is that you? HAH!!! I remeber when you was kicked out of the Van Halen Nursing home for pinching that spry 63-yr-old cafeteria lady on the buttocks! She jumped straight up like Elmer Fudd sittin' on a porcupine!! Hey my caregiver Judy is typing this cause I don't know nothing about them computers the kids all use. But we're glad you didn't crawl off and die after being tossed out on the streets. Honest day's worth at the microphone. Good for you, geezer! Come back visit sometime.

Courtney T Edison
ran out of medicine
one bright November night.
Said Courtney T Edison
"Please would you let us in
for a drink and a smoke and a bite."

But Courtney was portly
and so very shortly
his butt broke the seat of the stool.
When called into court, he
Said "Judge, I'm a sportly
young stud," but Judge called him a fool."

(adapted from Chaucer, The Codger's Tale, vii, 14-15)

Tom Crowley sounds like a cross between John Kirby and Allen Toussaint. What else do you have by him? Anything worth a listen?

Good things come to those who wait! It's taken just seventeen years of proactive campaigns and cd burnin' but at last we have The Old Codger on a regular basis!
