He's got *shoes* older than you!

Fri. 7/13/07 8:40am From: Ramon Newton

You are the best, Old Codger! We need you every week - neigh, every day! When cds have been beaten into coasters you will still be swirling these frantic platters! Spin on!

Fri. 7/13/07 8:43am From: Mary Whitehouse

I am disgusted by some of the lyrics of these songs. What is Hydrant Love? I can enjoy a Bongo Bop will the best of them but a Midnight Creep is too far for me. Some self-censorship is in order, Mr Codger.

Tue. 7/17/07 3:43pm From: Steven G. Levine

C. T. Edison --- The Legend Lives On (despite numerous roach traps and cans of Raid sprayed his way). Yes, Virginia, there is a codger.

(The man has hemorrhoids older than me!)

Sun. 7/22/07 1:05pm From: Sean A. Garrison

His phone number is "6".

Sun. 7/22/07 3:42pm From: Victor O. K. Brunswick

Regarding the songs cited in the request for self-censorship, be aware that the recording of "Hydrant Love" was made in 1925. California Playboys performed "Midnight Creep" in 1949, although Bell-Lyttelton probably did this one in the '50's.

Censoring the archives of musical history would be as repulsive as circumcizing the Codger.

Mon. 7/23/07 3:46pm From: Percival P. Poopdeck

Ye Olde Codger:
In the words of Hell 'n' Cain, "He's so unusual."
