Every show starts with the ’70s! We’ll rediscover forgotten rockers, revisit unfairly maligned disco beats and replay power-pop favorites. Next: plenty of new releases, occasional live bands and more. Don’t let the nickname confuse you.

Mike Lupica:

Wow, Computer Cougar! Love those guys, they shoulda been bigger than... well, a lot of other bands. I saw them perform once at a rural Pennsylvania truck stop in the middle of a blizzard and it's an experience that has definitely stayed with me. And what an allstar lineup! Dudes from Rorschach, Greyhouse, Born Against, and their guitar player is now in Radio 4. *That's* a supergroup that I can get with!

I saw them another time at NYU with Red Monkey and whatever that band was that used to dress up to emulate the names of the other performers on the bill. I think on that occasion, they wore long cat tails complimented by hollowed out computer monitors on their heads.
