Playlist for The Evan "Funk" Davies Show - May 1, 2007

Mondays 11pm - 2am on WFMU 91.1 fm 90.1 fm wfmu.org

Starting with the 70s -- it could be a classic (or obscure) punk rocker, a forgotten disco diva, a long-unheard hit record, or none of these. What happens next depends on what's in the WFMU new bin and whether I remember my records from home. Tune in and find out! You'll even hear a live band once in a while.

Listener comments!

Wed. 5/2/07 6:01pm From: giggles

so? who won the labyrinth poster?

Thu. 5/3/07 5:32pm From: Chris

I like how the Lungs of a Giant song, with that fierce keyboard sound, melded so nicely with the Young Marble Giants song, with its ice-rink organs, despite the spastic to leisurely difference in styles.

Fri. 5/11/07 9:11am From: Alfred

I love it...Would you play more of the Pepper Smelter songs ?
thanks
